jiyen235, 4 hours agowhat are you gonna move to? Sony? LMAO. Samsung? LOL. GOOGL... moreYou can laugh as loud as you can, but Samsung on. SD chip and and Pixel by all means are way way better than Color OS. Although I tried iOS for an year, I ran away from it as the OS experience sucks. (excellent camera though). If OnePlus is going the iOS way, what's the point? In yerms of Software experience Samsung with SD is much better in that aspect despite some boatware and Pixel is supreme in terms of software experience. I don't mind waiting for TSMC Tensor G5. Moto isn't great with OS upgrades since Lenovo took over and has significant delays. OnePlus is no different about the timento upgrade older phones that are still under OS Upgrade Window. Both Samsung and Pixel does extremely well in getting the latest OS in timely manner after the new ones is released..

    looks like miui14 ngl

The new Phone Manager application is very necessary, at least it allows you to serve the OnePlus operating system, and at the same time not search for similar applications in Google Play.
In general, OnePlus has a problem with its own software (elementary, there is no audio player of its own)

Nowadays every UI component is supposed to be a rounded corner and have no shades, for instance, how many people can correctly distinguish the Setting app UI of OneUI from that of HyperOS, ColorOS or OriginOS? Unless you're a phone nerd it's becoming essentially impossible for you to figure it out.

I hope they will allow you to disable the branded red 1 in the clock, widgets and lock screen. I find it uncomfortable and hard to see.

Most people won't be bothered by that, but it's nice they managed to do that. Not a single person, when using phone with that animations, won't say that it's worse than the old way. It will just be smoother. iPhones are praised for that smoothness and it's true, I had iPhone 13 Pro before OnePlus Open and it's great phone to use in that matter.

Avoid OnePlus if you want to root your phone.
They don't offer the stock firmware for download from their official servers like Xiaomi does. Therefore it's much more difficult to patch the boot.img

"It reminded us of those pointless videos on YouTube, where people open apps rapidly on two phones side by side as if it proves something"
This triggers quite a lot of people on social media tbf

Has anyone tested yet if they fixed desktop mode? Can't seem to find any info on it..

Yes all UIs now look almost the same but that's kinda bad because now the UI won't be a deciding factor to wether buy a phone or not

Any green line issue in oxygen os 15

Anonymous, 4 hours agoStill have an old oneplus with me (5) that runs on android ... moreI still prefer the current OOS over the classic one. Looks nicer in my opinion, and especially feels smoother and is generally faster. My 8T benefitted greatly from OOS12 and OOS13, a lot faster all of a sudden.

I don't know why chinese phone companies are obsessed with Ios looks. Every android skin from china is IOS inspired and it's getting boring now. In the long run, we are going to have different android skins with similar user interface (I don't know who told them that we want IOS UI on Android phones).
