Samsung Galaxy A56 to bring an important camera upgrade

Make the screen less rounded or full boxy, don't remove the SD card slot, add jack if it possible (optional). Keep the gorilla glass victus glasses. Keep use a flat aluminum frame. Add a steel blue color variant but with Silver or Black colored frame all across other variants. Then it will be my perfect phone.

    Hope it'll come with a telephoto lens for shooting good portraits and also smooth switch between the ultrawide, main, and telephoto lens while shooting videos...

      Could have used a midrange Mediatek chip, but I guess Samsung needs to keep its unions and foundry investors happy.

                And if you count only the big brands (samsung, apple, xiaomi, oneplus, vivo, google, etc.), 99 models have it and 93 models don't.

                    Are we sure the camera module is the same since A51? Or did they mean the megapixel count is the same (32mp)?

S series no longer supports microSD, and will never do so again. This is something that keeps many folks from buying S-series, one of them being me. Telephoto and wireless charging are great features, but microSD is a higher priority.

                      So, the only way to get telephoto and wireless charging alongside the microSD is if those features trickle down to the A5x. I believe Samsung could do that without damaging the S and FE lineups too much by keeping those features primitive on the A5x (Like 5W wireless without reverse charging, and a simple 2x telephoto).

                      That, or they could give the FE a microSD slot to make it a proper 'bridge' between the A and S lineups. I mean, at this point, there is only about a 100-150 dollar gap between the A5x and S2x FE, and the FE is supposed to be a Fan Edition. Why not go for it?

                      (Why I keep microSD a priority: A 512GB internal storage is not the same as a 256GB internal + 256GB microSD. Let's say, 4 years in, something happens to your phone. The display is unresponsive or broken, and you want to retrieve your files. With microSD, you can just take the card out and be done with it; something you cannot do with internal storage.)

                        If you see better package of features from another competitor for less then buy it.

                        The A range may be the best selling but that doesn't mean automatically it gets huge upgrades, quite the reverse could apply. A devils advocate may argue, it's selling without the extra features

                        Telephoto ultrawide field of view /zooming
                        These are rumours so waiting to see if accurate.
                        The upgraded features only matters to people who are ACTIVELY looking to upgrade, whether or not they are materially superior to the A55 is if BOTH A55 and A56 are essentially 2 phones being considered and available

                          So far, the A56 upgrades over the A55:
                          - Big performance upgrade, reaching SD888 or maybe above that.
                          - Small front camera upgrade, A55 selfie camera was mediocre so I guess that makes sense
                          - Possibly thinner, from 8.2mm to 7.4mm. This one was reported for A36 but we all know A3x and A5x usually have the same casing.

                          What I would like to see on A5x series:
                          - A telephoto lens, even if just 2x.
                          - Wireless charging, even if a basic 5W one.
                          - Curved backpanel, like A50, which would be better for handling.
                          - Thinner bezels, things have been stagnant since my A50.
                          - A more competetive pricing if these changes aren't coming, because A50 MSRP was $350, and A55 MSRP was $550. Ridiculous.
