Samsung Galaxy S24 FE vs. Samsung Galaxy S24+

This year the Galaxy S24 FE appears to have been made by the Galaxy S24+ image, so it makes you wonder - which one to get?

Azu10157, 05 Nov 2024Because every time I try to do something on my phone, when ... moreHmm, sounds more like those settings related to "avoid incidental touch" or "disable touch while in pocket" or smth like that.. if it's the proximity sensor usually you will see phone lit up and switching to loudspeaker when near the ear/head...aka the opposite problem of what you experience.

    Anonymous, 05 Nov 2024Why so?Because every time I try to do something on my phone, when it's nowhere near my ear the screen just turns off. Sometimes I'll try to hang up from a call but when I go to do it, the screen turns off.

    Now I'm not sure if that's intended behaviour (I know the purpose of the prox sensor is to turn off the screen to prevent accidental touches) but I feel like it's a bit too much.

      The pixel 9a doesn't have thin bezels, but they're uniform & symmetrical all around. It makes them look more appealing than having one thickness for the sides, a slightly thicker thickness for the top & a much thicker chin on the bottom.

          It's better to wait two or three generations before of course I understand that there are enthusiasts but logically the change makes no sense

              In India, presently the difference between fe and plus model is a mere 80$ because of the festive sale going on. It would be better to go with the plus model.

              Fe 256 gb costs 700$ approx
              Plus 256gb costs 780$ approx

              It would be wise to go with the plus model in such a case

                  The battery is a weird thing to point out, as it's the same capacity but lasts longer on the S23+

Which ones, in yo... moreYeah they are not bad (at least better than the s23 which oversharpened too much) but the noise in low light is a lot sometimes it even messes with objects unless you are up close. For the price I think nubia does better with their cameras in z60 and I also think Xiaomi 14t pro has a better camera. The pixel 8 pro is still better than all of these.

The 7 years of updates, plus the 4700mAh battery (while not the S24+ standard, it's something) really does make a huge tilt in the right direction.

                          Highly doubt S24+ uses hardware prox sensor but that's just me

                            Samsung is trying really hard to upsell the S24FE and trying to make people forget that S23+ exists.

                                      Samsung increased the OS update on their flagship series, so they should just scrap the FE altogether and keep their vanilla and + flagships until three generations later like the Apple way.
