But even a Motorola can start using Si-Ca batteries so they can be better.
Anyway i am fine with my Motorola edge 40 pro which i have now for 15 months without any issues. Screen is good enough rest of specs too.
And a pure android experience without any bloatware UI is just win win.

Good effort towards battery drainage issue but price should be reasonable for middle man One plus should focus on moderate price because the majority of middle class community

Snapdragon 695 hater, 29 Oct 2024Have you not seen their phone line up this year? Exorbitant... morethe Motorola phones are good enough if you can forget about the curved screen which basically every other phone possesses. The pricing is nice enough if you look at the whole package in terms of a cameraphone. Not many other phones give you 3 acceptable to good lenses at these prices.
The Oneplus 12r has a great chip and a good main cam for the price but that's it. Motorola has decent UW cams and zoom cams on most phones as well. I dunno what you find so offensive about Motorola's strategy, in a vacuum their pricing is bad but if you look at the competitors you'll see they're at worst on the same level as others but imo they're just a tad better than others overall.

jiyen235, 29 Oct 2024yeah basically you don't have access to that phone so ... moreHave you not seen their phone line up this year? Exorbitant prices, curved screens, terrible processors, removal of SD card slot and headphone jacks in budget range devices and loads more. There's no point getting a Moto G85 when the G84 offers so much more and is cheaper.
Recently they have redeemed themselves with the Moto G75 and Edge 50 Neo. I have a Moto G82 that' I've had for more than 2 years now and all I wanted to do was upgrade to another budget / mid range Motorola option. They haven't given me a choice to upgrade to anything that's why I've been looking around. I would have picked up a Oneplus 12r if it wasn't for the curved screens but the 13 is looking promising.
The mid range market is in a strange position when you have a phone like the Oneplus 12r. Most mid rangers are around £400 in the UK however you can get a 12r for around £450 with headphones on their main website!

Cpt.Power, 28 Oct 2024That phone is not even out yet and you saying this crap.
... moreMotorola gives 4300-4500 mAh + 125W or 5000mAh + 68W. You are not getting 5000-5500mAh + 125W any soon. Ultra and Pro will not drop the 125W in favor of large battery.
Motorola uses much lower quality screens. I have one, can tell.
Motorola in Europe will not be able to try to undercut price of other brands if using same SoC. I like Edge 50 Pro, but €700, it should have had larger battery 7+g3 and 1/1.28" instead of 1/1.56"
The rest of edge phones should have dropped the 13mp 1/3". That is too old.
Before pandemic.
Should decide if gonna give or not charger. Giving to some while not to other is wrong. Also update policy is not same across different markets.

The previous phone OnePlus 12 has a 5600ma battery.
So 6000ma is 6% more not 10%. 100watt charging is fine for me takes 25 mins for a 100% charge. That's over twice as fast a Samsung Galaxy or Iphone

Here's the problem, I live in the UK and VIvo don't sell their phones here. Since joining GSMA and regularly looking at phone news Vivo seem to be a great brand but living in the UK we actually have less phone variety compared to other markets it seems.
Sure we get the Apples, Pixels, Samsungs etc but I'm not interested in those phones and want value for money. I remember buying the Oneplus One 10 years ago and keeping that phone for almost 4 years!
Motorola have been terrible this year and I've been very vocal about it so I have no choice apart from hoping Oneplus deliver a good phone otherwise I might pick up a Nothing 2a at some point as there's hardly any other options remaining.

The battery capacity is perfect, but the charging is the issue. The oneplus 10T came with a 4500mah battery with a speedy 150w charging. If they could bring that charging speed to the current flagships with 6 to 7000mah batteries, it would be perfect.
Iqoo 13 is coming with the speedy 120w charging and 6100mah battery. Oneplus needs to upgrade the charging at least on the oneplus 14.

Last year flagship had SD 8 gen 2 and it was really great still working as a day one phone.
Even said SD 8s gen 3 is powerfull enough to run any app or game without any issues many tests proven that.
