                  Kirin first need to develop 6nm, then 5nm and then 3nm process. They are around 4 years behind.

                    People should stop thinking that MediaTek chips are inferior to Qualcomm chips.

                      The real question is, which one of these can render webpages faster cuz a lot of apps use webview and seems slow even on the fastest phone just because the chip and webview are unoptimized mess.

                          Anonymous, 01 Nov 2024"Mediatek is catching up"... No Mediatek is exac... moreIt doesn't matter at that level for CPU and GPU is better in Mediatek which matters because games use GPU and there's no shortage of demanding games.
                          Apps use CPU but no phone app will be able to mac out the CPUs in the next 5 years (unless it's a video editor maybe but who uses a flagship phone to edit video as people who can afford these phones most definitely will be able to afford a laptop to edit videos).
