04 November 2024
It's an interesting situation with some brands growing slowly, others seeing over 100% more shipments than last year.

I'm still using my 5 year old Huawei Mediapad M6. 8.4", 2560x1600, SIM card slot, GPS, and Kirin 980 octacore 7nm which is still decent compare to most "new" 8 inch tablet.

Lenovo, Amazon, Alldocube and Xiaomi 8 inch tab are not available officially here. Samsung Tab A9, Nokia T10, and Realme Pad Mini only comes with 4GB RAM and here. The iPad Mini and Tab Active are probably the only ones worth considering from the "officiality" standpoint (though the Tab Active is a bit overpriced if we ignore the fact that it's a rugged tablet).
Tbh there are some online store here that sold Legion Y700 and Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini for quite cheap. But again, it's unofficial, I will be screwed up when something happened.

Probably because they sell same soulless rectangles in various sizes from 2018

Like how Amazon tablets can grow so fast? In Q2 they were not in the top 5.
