Boy, 05 Nov 2024It's okay if they use inferior Exynos in midrage class... moreDo you have any sources to say that they tune down the Qualcomm variant to match the Exynos in performance?
Latest Exynos releases don't overheat or have throttling issues. There are many tests and benchmarks who prove it.

Eyaddy, 05 Nov 2024Yep Samsung's global sales might drop massively in 202... moreWhen you know that Samsung isn't only a smartphone brand company and that they have different divisions. And they also make and manufacture SoC's and that its their way of gaining profit and revenue. Just like Intel does. And that Samsung won't abandon Exynos if you don't like it go to another brand then. But Exynos in Samsung is essential, so they can have a better software-hardware integration, software support and optimisation.

Anton .el PAPI., 05 Nov 2024Thank God Google got rid of this brand!!! Without a doubt, ... moreWhen you understand that even with TSMC Tensor SoC's won't be able to match the performance and the efficiency of the competition because its problems relies more on CPU/GPU architecture rather than a manufacturing issue.
Only compared the latest Exynos by Samsung and the latest Google tensor by google, in benchmarks and real life use the Exynos outperforms it in raw performance and efficiency.

This doesn't reflect final performance. And you don't know if Samsung will put it on the Z Fold and Z Flip line. but if it passes the tests well and improves they wouldn't mind using it again on the Ultra variant.

David 040882, 05 Nov 2024I knew previous rumors were too good to be true You mean for the scores?
This is an early test and this is not an indicator of the final performance of the SoC.

I wasn't trying to come off as someone who accused you of lying because I didn't like your argument, I just thought you need more evidence for a claim like that.

Darth Caesium, 05 Nov 2024The big problem with that chipset is the heat and the conne... more1) Never had any issues with call quality on the Note20 Ultra with Exynos.
2) Not making up anything about performance. The only different thing with my gaming is higher phone resolution (same screen refresh speed) and the phone burns just as much with the newest SD processor as it did with now over 4 years old Exynos. For one version of the game, it did not, however, for all other versions, it did. It is not due to any game bug or optimization, because it ran fine on Exynos, and thus should run better four years later on the best Snapdragon on the planet. During summer, I could not even use high resolution on the phone, because it was unusable. Just for reference, the game is Dead by daylight mobile. I also play PUBG, game still does not run good on highest available setting (but never ran perfectly on Note20 Ultra highest available setting either, in both cases the phone would just get really, really hot).
Trying to say someone is lying because you don't like their argument is the cheapest argumental fail there is. Fortunately for you, this is not a debate, it's social media, so you can afford that here and it fits right in (seeing those upvotes you got).

3.3 Ghz crappy Exynos vs 8 Elite with 4.3 Ghz ?
This is mid-range , not flagship anymore. RDNA is a gimmick and nothing else.
Samsung really needs to stop with that Exynos. But they won't.
