People are keeping their phones for longer than ever. Having more performance means you have more headroom if there is something to be adopted in the future. You can't future proof, but you can make up for the lost performance in comparison to future SOC bu having more powerful SOC. Of we are going by your reasoning, the Exynos better give leagues better efficiency like a day or two extra battery to justify this. Have you even used a Pixel Tensor G SOC? They suck big time focusing on AI first, while graphics suffers. Yet the battery life is like every other phone. 1 day of use. I'm using multiple phones now, and my god if the Exynos is not the same or better. It's then unacceptable.

The s24 definitely feels a lot smoother and faster and also the battery is a massive improvement. But I didn't really have any problem with the exynos, actually both run just as hot during every day use

                  Ok now they will use its chips that reduce the costs therefore I wish samsung use last screen panel m14 rather than m13 because they dont use sanpdragon for base model and no camera upgrade.

                                      I never purchased a flagship phone before, and I was ready to purchase s25 because I really wanted a small samsung phone (I'm happy with oneui in my current mid-ranger), but if these rumors turn out to be true then I will gladly flip the bird at samsung and take my money elsewhere. That garbage exynos processor should be offered at a lower price, since it's an inferior product, simple as.

                                        And by that I supposed you mean the people who cobbled together this fake GB6 scope

                                        If you read the source (via) is it a reported story connect by rumours & supposition couched in vague terms.

                                        IDK but in addition to this the architecture is all wrong from the UNIQUE 1+2+3+4, which performance will improve on 3nm fabrication. Samsung has (NOT) changed this it to a 1+2+5+2 which is for all intense and purposed Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 hybridisation 8+ 2 extra cores

                                        There appears to be multiple errors with cortex clockspeed. Whether these are all underclocked an explanation of sorts, however the one sore point is the base frequency of 1.8 GHz (or the A525 2024 underclocked to the 3 generation earlier A510) which is lower than the Exynos 2400 A525.

                                        The GB6 fake score is only added to embellish a story with no actual facts to support earlier rumours.
