I would also like to be able to add to my personal experience, devices such as;

- the LG G2 (a very innovative company for the time, in terms of technical design), a small software and hardware jewel.

- Redmi K20 Pro

ps: I apologize for the incorrect wording of the Realme GT 5G SOC (It was an SD888)

I had in fact confused it with the SD855 of the K20 Pro. (a device that I have used in a fluctuating way, but sufficiently appreciable)

What do I mean;

- I want to say that if a xyz device also landed in my country, I would have no problems whatsoever in being able to experiment with a new experience. (Obviously and in my specific case, Always TopGamma)

But my Experience would ALWAYS be consistent and honest with itself.

And NEVER as a tool of illusion.

    jiyen235, 09 Nov 2024honestly bro, you're just coping about a lot of stuff.... moreIn fact, this is what I personally appreciated about the devices and brands/manufacturers that I PRAGMATICALLY used for what they offered.

    I have also been a user of Samsung (When it was the gold in terms of performance), HTC (when it was the Glory of Quality in terms of software and hardware!) and "minor" brands like POCO (in terms of performance and sustainability on prices)

    Therefore, I think I have enough (personal) experience in this regard, to be able to give feedback with a certain confidence in the use of software and hardware (aka smartphones and their respective roles)

    I am NOT interested in the "junk" on the side.

    I just want to be as honest as possible with myself.

    And if this can be seen as a "copy", then we are not there at all.

    Better to understand it then as a "reflection", or objective reflection of things.

    I appreciate intellectual honesty.

    I hate "merchants" of empty words. (obviously bro, this isn't referring to you personally)

      Anonymous, 09 Nov 2024Thanks for your kind reply. As for the Realme software, ... morehonestly bro, you're just coping about a lot of stuff. you're free to like what you like but don't act like there aren't better things lol

        jiyen235, 07 Nov 2024yeah but Realme's software is a little icky compared t... moreThanks for your kind reply.

        As for the Realme software, I can certainly give you my personal feedback, or user of;

        - Realme GT 5G (SD855, the first real sportsman of the Realme range)
        - Realme GT 2 Pro (SD8GEN1, I remember him for the wonderful design)

        Both devices, I used them with satisfaction, balance was their motto.

        But the file management software (especially the transfer is the copy of and towards /Android /Data) deepened me. (both locally and with the PC)

        You could not manage absolutely nothing (writing and reading permits blocked for certain folders of the SD Root).

        "There is already an Apple for these crap", I thought about time!

        Now I don't know if with this new device, Realme has made the appropriate changes to allow a more agile and easy management of these "files" and "folders" (/Android/Data?), Given that the "political" of a Google (US Centrics? Will it be the lack of self -esteem? Insecurity? Ah! In Google they call it "security") they always put their hand! But at the time, I encountered many difficulties, especially for the manual backup of data and configurations of some specific programs.

        However, I can ensure that the support for the ISSUE of the software existed and it was very fast in proposing Bugfix.

        Personally, I took present at the time of a series of errors to the Realme service, and after a short time (about 2 weeks from the request), I received several updates that Fixarino those problems.

        Therefore, a service that existed and not just a marketing facade.
        -
        As for the speakers, I can give you my personal feedback as a user of RM9;

        - the problem is not the "size", the problem is the DTS, which has created quite a few malfunctioning problems.

        I reported this to the RM service, shortly after, several corrective updates were released that stabilized the sound, making the entire range of frequencies neutral (RAW or "bird curve").

        However, I am personally satisfied with the 32bit/384Khz output of my device, in addition to the powerful TOZO Golden X1 (32Bit/96Khz), it is one of the best sounds I have ever heard with a device! (I love deep and powerful Bass, and crystal clear highs without smudges)

        Obviously, I speak for myself and from my personal experience, I prefer the Jack/BT connection with headphones.
        -
        As for the Hz of the screens, I think that 120Hz is already excellent.

        Balanced fluidity and speed.

        144Hz or 165Hz, or 200Hz, or Etc., well, those are marketing facades!

        They do not (Yet) make sense to exist on a device (such as for example the "4k" of a Sony)

        Rather, ALL OEMS, should focus on optimizing the 60Hz (which is still the most popular on 99% of the devices on the market), the reason is soon said;

        - As a user of several Xiaomi, Realme and RedMagic (in this specific case and ALL TopGamma devices), using the 60Hz specification was a "pain in the ass"!

        It simply means, that I am witnessing the ugliest implementation and optimization of a frame-rate/frame-pacing on the Display side.

        There used to be triple buffering (or "butter effect" at 60Hz), what happened to it?

        I am LITERALLY forced to use a higher frequency.

        We should simply stop fooling ourselves (and others) and do things properly, pragmatically, and in relation to the various scenarios of concrete use of things. As the Dao teaches.

        Thanks for reading this far.

          Vegetaholic, 09 Nov 2024Yes they are, that's why Apple and Samsung sucks, they... moreeh, for a normie it does actually. A normal person would be happy with even a 60 hz Galaxy A55. They just buy bigger and better phones cus of the brand value and the "vibes".

Owning Apple or Samsung makes no sense.

              Cake, 07 Nov 2024They’re leaving Samsung behind in terms of hardware. Samsu... morerespect where respect is due, samsung has been able to provide near Apple levels of optimizations for that 5k mah battery, despite being a QHD phone it has amazing battery life.

              They are going to give you bits and pieces year over year. One year you'll get camera updates, then the next you'll get battery updates, then another year there'll be faster charging, then another year there'll be some other gimmick along the lines of AI. They're following the Apple route.

                And yeah, Redmagic phones seem great, my main question is whether or not they can improve the speakers. The ROG phone and Xiaomi Black Shark 5 had exceptional speakers. Hope ZTE can implement front firing, balanced speakers that don't have much compression/distortion artifacts. Additionally, the Red Magic 7 also had a 165 hz display, the new phones aren't even QHD nor do they have 144 hz+ displays, only 120 hz. The IQOO 13 has a 144 hz QHD display!

                    Any suggestions?

                        Samsung has been using the Same 5000mAh for 5 years now and they will recycle the same design in the Galaxy S25 Ultra for the fourth year in a row!
                        Remember when Samsung actually used to innovate and bring changes every single year.

                          - OnePlus 13 (the all-rounder)

                          - RedMagic 10 Pro (the absolute best for gaming)

                            A december launch? damn is it just me or are these chinese manufacturers like, getting super serious with global launches now lol, incredible stuff.

                            Realme GT7 Pro, Oneplus 13 and this phone are gonna have an epic battle, really interested in seeing how they all compare.

                            Would also love it if someone did a sustained peak brightness test instead of just the usual peak brightness test, gsmarena did experiment with the beach thing and i think the idea was excellent.
