But overall you get updates later and you get carrier bloatware. That's a huge downside for me. I always buy unlocked global phones. You want a Samsung go buy from Samsung.

        I don't understand how carrier locked phones can still exist, in my country all carriers stopped selling carrier locked phones since around 14 years ago, every carrier contract comes with a unlocked phone instead.

          Carrier locked phones are cancer.

            I will never understand why would someone pay for a carrier locked device.
