Because since then, the prices have become comparable to Samsung’s. But Chinese vendors often lie about Android updates and rarely sell spare parts. So, what I was trying to say in my previous comment is that ads are the smallest problem with Chinese phones.

Well worst thing to one that can happen when you come home after a long day at work. You run your TV try to watch some good ads and they run a movie instead.
    What a sorry day.

If you don't want to pay for it, then don't. It's that simple. You even have to pay for necessities such as food and water. Why do you think that you shouldn't pay for entertainment? Even if your parents pay everything for you, you should understand this.

If you don't want to pay, you don't have to. Nobody forces you to pay. Do you realize that now you're using the Internet because you or someone pays for it? As for the phone or any device you use to post your comments, is it free?

Staggering. I switched from Standard to add supported because of the price increase.
I hate ads - but atm it is 1 minute or less per Epsiode which is bearable.
If they increase add frequency or raise the cost again, I will cancel my subscription immediately.

GSM Arena Thumbnail: "People don't like ads, they say".

                                      People DO NOT LIKE ads.
People are tolerating the ad tier because of the price tag.
                                      But this is unsustainable.
Even google's youtube, where creators were demonetized but still show ads (where 100% of the money goes to google / youtube) is struggleing.

It's only a matter of time before Netfilx, and other streaming platform increase their "ad tier" pricetag, while also bundle the streaming packages (like cable), this increasing the price tag further.

And to add salt on wound, these streaming platforms are removing shows that people want to watch, while continuously promoting shows that people do not want to watch or watch a few episodes, knows its not good / bad / really bad, and then stop watching the next episode, while at the same time streaming platforms are still confused why people do not watch the new shiny thingy (basically Concorded).

                                      Note:
Concorded (Basically Sony's Concord): Currently the lowest bar for a service to fail. 2 days.

People dont like ads, they got used to ads from social media and web browsing, so when netflix releases a plan that costs less but has ads, and their other plans are insanely costly, why not pay less and have something you're already used to
