            ACE 5 will be still be behind competition while being the most expensive one.Possibly still won't have ufs 4.0 or a good ip rating or even an optical zoom, Probably still a 1080p selfie and USB 2.0.This shit would just have a new processor which would have throttling issues.All because of monopoly

Might be useless 2mp macro, or 2mp depth but the main reason for its existence is not to provide some modicum of photography functionality but to make the phone have 3 cameras on its back.

                            Your point, however, is well made when almost identical phones appear from two or three different vendors. Here marketing relies on brand loyalty rather than on competing.

Oppo's higher end models are the camera-centric phones you want - Find X8 Pro, Find X7/X8 Ultra etc. Oneplus will never be singularly camera focused, they launch a good all rounder phone at a starter flagship price.

                                      12R and 13R are essentially aimed at the same, just cheaper. A good processor is the first thing for such a phone, that is, it won't lag. Oppo's Reno series has good main/selfie cameras for their price against the Oneplus R series.

                                        This could be a sick mid range phone. Although the camera is obviously going to let it down, just like it did with the 12R.
