zdarena.com, 14 Nov 2024I'm glad to see Xiaomi making progress, but I can'... moreFor God's sake ,there is nothing wrong with one brand copying a useful feature from another brand ,so that those who would have skipped the device because of a particular missing feature that was present in another brand ,can finally enjoy that feature on the product they actually prefer ,and have more options

PaxLucis, 15 Nov 2024Waves of deadboot Xiaomi devices incoming... :D :DI though this issue was about the hardware overheated? Not from them updates.
My Poco X6 Pro (12/512) dropped at 12 PM in direct heat for almost 30 minutes, reaching 50 degrees temperature but still was alive after it cooled down. Expecting it'd be down to a bootloop or deadboot status but no...
It just said: "Device is Overheating, shutting all apps down and allow it to cool down from 3 to 5 minutes before using the device again"

Anonymous, 15 Nov 2024Is HyperOS 2 based on HyperOS 1 based on MIUI ?
Translated... moreSeriously? Building a completely new mobile OS is a dead end by now. Especially if you target a global market. Windows was gaining traction back then. But once Microsoft take a wrong turn, just once, and it plummeted and died.
Harmony OS might gain traction, but for China only. For the rest of the world, devs still build their apps only for Android and iOS. Heck, the initial Harmony OS already hassle enough when users need to workaround the GMS issues. With no runtime for Android apps like in the Harmon Next, practically no services available for its users since devs need to build up a new code base from scratch (instead of only porting from GMS to HMS like they did for the initial Harmony OS).

Translated... moreNo they should not do what your suggesting (the audacity from you 🤨🤦🏿♂️) you clearly haven't got a single idea of how this all works, Huawei is even lucky to still even exist!. Since you're screaming about it so much go and purchase a Huawei phone see how long you will last 🙄

Is HyperOS 2 based on HyperOS 1 based on MIUI ?
Translated that means even more bloatware on top of bloatware on top of bloatware right?
Wow!
How about actually creating a real OS from scratch like what Huawei did?
Come on Xiaomi. I know you can do it.
I'm sure the new Huawei OS is much faster than this HyperOS trashware!

NXTwoThou, 14 Nov 2024Odd the 11 Ultra and 12 are listed, but 12S Ultra isn't..The 12S Ultra was not a global device, but China exclusive. It didn't have global ROM.
The lists here are about global version of HyperOS 2 for models sold outside of China :-)
