Samsung Galaxy S25 will have 12GB of RAM

It took them long enough. Should've done it with the S22 series, and given the S22 Ultra 16GB of RAM back then. S20 Ultra having a 16GB RAM version was great, same should've been the case for the S21 Ultra, and this should've been standard starting with the S22 Ultra.

      Samsung, then will utilize SD 8 Elite to overclock its chip to 4.6 GHz for S25 series, specially on the S25 Ultra.

      Quite exiting that Samsung will put ahead on single-core performance and will slightly outperform A18 Pro on 16PM.

              So for now the differences between S24 and S25 are:
              - Better chipset
              - Slightly thinner with less bezels
              - More RAM*(depending on your region)
              - Camera rings
              And that's it. There are almost no differences wtf.

              And S23 and S24 was already quite shallow:
              - Better chipset
              - Slightly more battery
              - Brighter screen
              - LTPO screen
              - Slightly larger vapour chamber
              - Slightly bigger screen with less bezels
              - Flat frame

              Better buy an S23 or S24 and save hundreds of dollars.

                        12gb should be the minimum in all flagships.

                          I think the base model of the S25 is going to be a really buy for the average consumer. S23 and S24 right now provide everything customers need. No innovation this year for lower markets

                              They should start using 16GB and more to the Ultra version. Chinese flagship phones even offer 24GB version.

                                    what is up with those thick camera rings?

                                      samsung offers even less of an upgrade than apple at this point
                                      the only thing really going for this base s25 is the 8 gen elite
                                      same design, same UW camera for 5 years, same telephoto/main for 3 years, same selfie for 5 years, same dynamic amoled 2x, same akg tuned speakers, same battery size, same reverse wireless speed and same 25w wired charging.

                                        Well. I guess the author missed the part where the minimum RAM and Storage requirements for the Snapdragon X Elite is 12/256.
                                        If it was up to Samsung they would've still launch a flagship phone in 2030 with 8/128 configuration.
