What about watch 3 update for new watch faces

Vic, 15 Nov 2024Any smartwatch is just a useless piece of garbage. People j... moreI wasn't going to keep my first smartwatch in 2018, the Galaxy 3 Frontier. But, after the first day of NOT having to check my phone (use it a LOT for work) 3,503 times a day, but just glancing at my watch, I kept it.
Then I noticed it could track your sleep, so I kept it on while sleeping and noticed that at times, my heart rate jumped into the 90 beats per minute range around 1-5 am. Didn't think much of it but mentioned it to my doctor on a routine checkup. Doctor asked if I snored, and i told the doctor yes. Got me a sleep study that said I had mild/moderate sleep apnea. I've been on a CPAP ever since and my heart rate stays in the mid 50's at night.
So, for most smart watches are a "gadget", but it sure has been a blessing for me.

Been using a Galaxy Watch5 Pro for 2 years now, I love it except for one small thing - rarely (maybe once a week), when exercising, when it says "set ", it sometimes cuts part of the "set" word of the number when saying it (never happened twice during the same session). It still counts it correctly and everything, but considering the text-to-speech is on-board on the watch, this seems really weird.

Those of us who do use them, find them useful and worth the cost for the services & tools they offer.

I use the living hell out of my Watch4 Classic at work, where personal phones are forbidden due to policy. My watch saved me countless times from missing deliveries, or a text from my mother who takes care of my father whose health isn't in the best of conditions. It also looks great and is very good at tracking my routine.

If you're not in the demographic for a watch, keep your personal opinion personal.

Any smartwatch is just a useless piece of garbage. People just push themselves to like them, push themselves to believe they are useful devices, but outside of this self-pushing and self-deceiving smartwatches (irrespective of manufacturer) are one of the most useless pieces of electronics nobody in his sober mind should spend any amount of his/her hard earned money for... It's an expensive toy for a couple of weeks to play with but nothing more than that.
