Of course there are differences and you can tell them apart....But without the logo some would confuse because they are very similar. I'm not talking crap or making fanboy claims. Just simply stating facts. It looks A LOT like a Galaxy as does Lg's Optimus G line.

Amir, 07 Aug 2013well, i think you might need to buy glasses because phones ... morewell not really though mate, i mean if you look at all the models of touch screen phones there are a lot of close similarities, when phones had keys there was a lot more that could be done aesthetically to make them stand out, look at all the nokia models from the early 2000's they had some really cool designs, they also had whacky ones as well but they stood out, as did other companies but you saying that the LG looks a lot better then the s4 when it is almost identical save for a few details, had it not had the lg stamped in place of the physical home button it would bear a very close look, there are also plenty of nokias that look a bit like old samsung s2, lots of phones including the z10 and to a lesser extent the htc one which bear similarities to the iphone 5 and so on, the point being that touchscreen phone design has almost hit a plateau and with childish lawsuits been thrown around like sweets the next design is needed, as processing power and specs alone are far outpacing demand for the phones they power

I'm just going to say,
if the Samsung Galaxy was similar to the iPhone.
Then comparatively this is a copy and paste of a Samsung Galaxy phone, there's much more similar aesthetically between the LG and Samsung.
If LG wants to have a real hit on their hands, they need to come up with something that differentiates itself, not something that looks similar. The HTC did decently because it was unique looking - especially for an Android phone.

s800 is any time better than the EXYNOSE processor!
