I'm no fanboy but I give credit where credit is due. I found an article from 2017 of windows 10 going arm on a couple of laptops, but they apparently didn't gain any traction and ran poorly.

what apple did was build the kernel that ran x86 programs without any issues, true windows bootcamp was an issue that was resolved later. but for Mac users that was a turning point, windows failed to replicate the first and just now started to get traction after the intel partnership. I respect both sides and realize that the competition led to the benefit of us the consumers.

there's no way the guy does it first can replicate the guy who does it second 🤦🏽‍♂️
    so stop yapping

cheezo, 18 Nov 2024that's the innovation, simply allowing x86 architectur... moreinnovation? they just followed the steps of Windows and Linux to run their OS on ARM over X86 for efficiency but unlike on X86 Macs where you could actually verify the chips performance by bootcamping into windows or Linux the apple silicon is a locked ecosystem so you don't have any other option than accepting applebench results

apple, just give up on dat zhit

microsoft failed miserably when they first tried to replicate it. and i'm glad it's working out for them now.

It also is one of the only 5 state with hypersonic ICBMs. It's also a leader in of Fusion rector experiment globally and apple like company will have no such high-tech project besides iphone 17 projects.

Putting an OLED screen an inch away from the eyes this is recipe for optical disaster.
Say hello to your personal eye cancer.

so yeah Apple does do things exceptionally great on front but inside it's always half baked as usual

i'm not saying apple innovates anymore, but they can pump 5 or 6 gens of this headset before calling it quits if they want and see user demand.

It all represent one thing, the manufacturer hub is shifting or has shifted. Like this making such a novelty project 2nd gen seems impossible.

I don’t think a second generation will ever come out. Apple gave it a go but the fad is over and the industry it’s moving on to the buzzword AI, not VR! Only cheap headsets will have any market share now.
