It&#... moreSorry, but sharing Google credentials (email and password) with 3rd party apps or services does not work for me. microG and Aurora Store seems to be a better solution. But overall, in my opinion, having Android 12 even with the latest EMUI is not a good solution anyway as 1) you are downloading apps via 3rd party services and 2) what if some apps just stop supporting Android 12?
For me, Huawei is still not ready for the European market, but their marketing is really good to convince the user in the opposite.

From those only 2 pictures, I can tell that the phone loos stunning ! I like the one with the green back. Maybe I'll buy Huawei again.

The only thing that remains is 2-factor authentification for google sign-in. That reliance on Google may be a risk to individuals by the way. I'm typing this on a Huawei Nova device. The main reason I hesitate to buy another Huawei device is something Huawei itself does. It has two classes of clients: first class clients in China and second class clients everywhere else. International clients are stuck on EMUI 13, Chinese clients are on Harmony OS 4. No matter how much we have pleaded to be given the chance to choose Harmony OS, we haven't.

Because of HarmonyOS NEXT (which I don't expect to still has any value in Europe) and this "luxurious design" (although I don't like the colours and the rounded edges and curved displays), I expect a very high price, which will definitely not be justified. Waiting for Pura 80 line and will decide if I will skip Huawei also next year.

Flat frames aren't even just uncomfortable to hold, they also look cheap to me. iPhones do make them look more premium than most other brands, but that still doesn't make them a good thing. Curved frames in the style of, say, the Pixel 8 Pro both look premium and are really comfortable to hold. The only problem with that one's frame, in fact, is that it should've been matte, but otherwise it looks great.

No flat frame? Sign me up!
In all honesty, if Huawei didn't have the current problems it has (no GApps, no global availability, inferior chipset, artificial processing), I would get this in a heartbeat. This looks comfy to hold, which is something that I cannot say for 99% of phones made today. Phone design peaked with the Google Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21/S21+, and it's all been downhill from here on out.

Count again, there are 4 cameras, zoom in, the fourth one is hidden above the LED flash.

I like the way they are not just following the IPHONE flat sides design like most of the Chinese brands are with their flagship series. These curved edges are so much better for the in hand feel. The flat side trend might look ok but they don't feel as comfortable to grip at least without a case.

Looks good - very rounded 🤓. But if the frames are polished and rounded, holding without a case will be problematic/difficult 😅. The texture on the back and the camera island really look good 😘.
