Oneplus 12 (12/256) was priced at 4299 yuan and was launched in india at 65k. Iqoo 13 (12/256) was priced at 3999 yuan and was launched in india at 53k.

Exchange rate has been fairly stable in the 1 yuan = INR 11.5-12 for the past couple of years. Import duties in fact have been reduced from 22% to 16.5% a few months ago.

In this context, a 3699 yuan device, if launched at 70k, is absurd.

      I think Realme is doing the assembly of the Indian varient of GT 7 Pro in India (obviously). But they maybe couldn't make the 6,500mAh Si/C battrry in India. Maybe that's why they are putting a smaller Li-ion battery.

              They made a "mistake" of making OP12 almost perfect.
              I think it won't happened again.
              Reminds me a lot of Samsung few years back with A52s and S20 fe.

                        I have Samsung m51 with 7000 mah typing from it at the moment.what regulation? Is realme looking down on Indians like they can sell anything here while giving the best to other countries.we should avoid this phone at all cost if it's a li ion low capacity one.

                          That's sad...But hey friends from india you should try get the Chinese version with 6500 battery and S/Carbon battery.
