          kpetrov, 3 hours agoBuggy software and zero support = ROG PhoneVery disagree. I'm using rog phone 7 and it's great with almost zero bug. There's still 2 years major os and 4 years of security update, so there are still support from asus. Ui are stock like with many great features, run blazing fast, speakers sounds wonderful, have led notification light, no punch hole, big battery and quite fast charging. It's an unique phone that you cannot find it anywhere else nowadays.

                    Apart from speakers and maybe someone who prefers using their phone with a fan attachment, this phone ain't much.

                      I have Asus Rog phone 6, and I'm a bit disappointed about the software. For example, my Samsung S5 has a better useful file explorer than Asus. In Samsung S5 you can rotate images and view images in zoom, what you can't in Asus Rog phone 6. The gallery app also not so intuitive, and you can't rotate an image when you watch it, unless you display the grid view.
                      I guess 9 will have the same software that 6 has.

                        I think I will buy this, because it will probably be the only SD 8 Elite phone with a stock-Android experience. But I will only do it if they promise at least 3 years of full OS updates or allow Bootloader unlocking.

                            If they can’t provide at least 3 os updates and 4 years of security updates, no go.

                              Nobody cares. It's just another brick with locked bootloader. Things which made the device a proper gaming device are gone.

                                  MagicMonkeyBoy, 12 hours agoI am buying this phone. if you are still using ROG 7/8 it is still quite fast for gaming... and it is better to buy a gaming laptop, handheld PC or PC. Hey Asus has it all..

                                        No. After they have changed Shape of the device, I am holding on to my 7 Ultimate. Unless they do back or similar concept, but so far 8 nor 9 are not what I am interested in 😁😁👋
