So far seems like the V5x series are simply a rebadged V4x series, having the exact same design and SoC.

IpsDisplay, 10 hours agoBefore people start complaining about the amount of v serie... moreAnd for good reason. Samsung is screwing the design of their mid range A series, especially the A3x and A5x. Why should someone pays a premium for such bulky and heavy phone yet smaller screen and battery? Now with Vivo having IP68, Samsung is winning literally only in software.
I myself is leaning towards Vivo now. The A35 and A55 have crossed the 200g weight, which is too heavy in my book. Meanwhile Vivo is expanding its Zeiss filters to the non Pro V models. For people interested in camera performance, Vivo is winning

And just because a new one is out, doesn't mean yours stop working. Even the V50 is rumored to still use Snapdragon 7 gen 3, which is what your V30 has. Just because the number is bigger doesn't mean it's actually a new phone.

I have my v30 for around 6 months and they have a v50 on the way. They releasing these models way too quickly. The v40 was announced and released like 1 month after I got the v30 which was only available in my country for a month.
