Samsung starts rolling out One UI 6 to older Galaxy Watches

The new version is based on Wear OS 5 and is already running on the current Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra.

    Great to see Samsung rolling out the One UI 6 update to older Galaxy Watches! It’s always nice when companies extend new features and updates to older devices, ensuring better user experiences and prolonged usability. This update should enhance functionality and bring some of the latest software improvements to more users.

      Ah yes, the usual thing with Samsung begins where people ask "if update is out already" and "has anyone got it yet" for the next 2 weeks because of lame slow seeding. Man, I miss Apple in this regard. If update was officially announced, you always got it THAT moment if you manually checked for update. That was true for every single update for iPhone and Apple Watch when I had it for 4+ years. With Samsung, it's a very hit and miss experience. Sometimes you get update instantly, other times you wait for days. Annoying. But good to see my Galaxy Watch 4 is getting this update eventually.

Only watches that come pre-installed with wearos5 have this restriction where 3rd party apps like facer don't work anymore. Updating older watches to newer software won't limit your watch face options. Should have googled a bit more before posting.

            Maybe they'll have some sort of a delay to be used untill they update to the new UI?

              I remember hearing that the new one ui update doesn't support 3rd-party watch faces anymore. Is it true or am I mistaken? Can't find the answer on Google (reg. One ui update and the galaxy watch 4), here's hoping it's the latter.

                Strange. I received the new watch faces on my Galaxy Watch 4 a couple of weeks ago, but nothing else from the UI 6 update.

                  ung clocks are one of the most unreliable when it comes to measuring everything, the only time they show the exact time is because they download it from the internet. compared to professional trackers, they are not even close
