Dear HTC if you are reading this any any chance .. why is it that the Indian HTC people get the last seat for updates .. I guess there is a good market of HTC phones here in India as well and in particular if you have heard about Mumbai and Bangalore guys always have a HTC .. This shear negligence leads to losing faith and market .. The guy sitting next to me got a nice update 2 months ago .. and I am waiting here checking for updates .. HTC guys should really learn how to keep up the market trend by looking at Samsung guys .. to sell and advertise is not the biggest thing .. End of the day u support your product and u will have happy customers .. come no people not even the update for one x + .. really stupid .. I am thinking that I should have bought at least S3 now ... time to think for your as well HTC ...!!!!

Since The Indian HTC butterfly took 2 months to get the new update , I'm guessing same will take the HTC One X+ And One X.

As Samsung will be giving 2013 flagships with 4.3 treatment hoping that HTC also gives HOX + users with 4.3 as its biggest competitor of Samsung this can result in boosting HTC sales...

S3 mig... moreI read today that another carrier has released the new update to the One X in France so that's good, at least we're moving. And Samsung's 2012 flagship(SIII And Note II) still are on 4.1.x Jellybean. At least HTC is giving 4.2 with a UI update. that too before Samsung rolled out their updates. It's good, As for the 4.3 Android for us I see no chance. HTC's financial position will get the better of it this time.

This surely is the International version of the One X+ ,On the video the presence of white buttons on the phone at bottom of screen instead of the red ones(which I just noticed) along with the software version indicate the same. We still need to wait then.

Here you go. An Updated HTC ... moreDid u see the video? The software version is 2.18.401.2, which was available to uk based devices already. This guy must be having a device with same cid as uk's probably htc_001, and therefore he will get the update no matter where he is, and is never an indication for its availability or an imminent release "in india".

Here you go. An Updated HTC One X+ in India. It must not be far away for us too now. Gotta say I'm love with this update, it is what exactly the doctor ordered for One X.

In fact, even the HTC India customer care has no info regarding the 4.2 update for our devices.Nevertheless, the update is being rolled out to new regions/cid like every week, and eventually we too will get it.
