Samsung says that its second gen model matches or exceeds the performance of other models while being 1.5-3x faster.

If TSMC has no other semiconductors, TSMC semiconductors are monopolized. Samsung Foundry is mostly used by China, there are export ban regulations from the US. Samsung Foundry sales are disrupted. Globalfoundries used to be owned by AMD, but they are no longer cared for. In fact, it has been sold by other companies, the market share is much smaller than Samsung Foundry or TSMC. Only 4 or 6% market share/Q2 2024 and TSMC market share is around 62% and Samsung Foundry is around 13 or 14%
