I don't know what you guys are getting mad about.
Have you tried 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 or 4.3?
I've seen them all on the nexus 7 and there all exactly the same. You won't notice any difference. If your not happy with your note 1 or S2 as it is now, updating won't suddenly improve anything.

What about the galaxy Note? Will it not get 4.2? I think this is an insult to the Note, giving 4.2.2 to a mid range device and not giving it to the Note, which is a high end device.

High end devices such as the s and note series should be first in line for updates.

Looking at the specifications its the Galaxy S2 with a 5 inch screen hey just as the Mega series so i have a strong feeling Samsung is going to give the Original S2 the update as well this the King of Androids

just try comparing your front and rear camera,loudspeaker with a samsung galaxy grand in real life any you'll get to know which one is a better device, and grand has got 4gigs of internal storage not 1.5gb like micromax.. compare the quality of stock earphones, charger of galaxy grand and canvas,
and you say your phone has qwwwaaadd core processor oh really? that's why sometimes even the Google keyboard crashes?? and you ll have hard time getting your canvas serviced through micromax and yes I support micromax but they are just re-branding Chinese handsets..
galaxy grand is a lot better thn your canvas hd
the only plus point of your phone is screen but due to built quality it would break easily

Thanks godness i didn't buy this junk which ain't gonna get updated to Android 4.3. Even my Micromax A116 Canvas HD is gettibg Android 4.3 update. LOL.

am a s3 and galaxy grand user..and am happy that s3 will directly be updated to 4.3 not to 4.2 and thn to 4.3 cause by doing so they will be able to serve 4.3 much early.. and for s3 and note 2 users it will save the time of downloading and installing 1 update..
but I wish Samsung updated the grand to 4.3 too cause 4.3 has many bug fixes and performs a bit more smooth and 4.3 doesn't needs any special hardware requirements
