                Some one or some group in Samsung is definitely lacking in competence. Or they are fans of apple. Or they worked there previously. Either way, it's a net negative for Samsung.

                  Just give us back the old quicksettings. Maybe let us enable it through quickstar or themepark or whtever, just let us go back to the good times. The new quick settings screen is horrible. Besides, isn't the point of GoodLock to give more power to the user, and extra customization? This is exactly it. Give us the option to revert.

                            Honestly I just turned off updates using ADB, my S24+ works fine with no issues and I don't need any update that will impact stability and battery.

                                Why One UI is becoming IOSish? One UI is not like last time already, allowing users to operate single handedly without the need to go into one hand mode.

                                  potato4k, 22 Nov 2024People who are complaining not having Android 15 quicker, s... moreAndroid 13 or 14 I agree, but 12, and especially 11 and 10 miss multiple things that would stand out before I reach the about page (my current phone runs A14, my old work one is stuck at A11)

                                  Anyhow it's not about A15 bringing new functionality, people always make that mistake when they say "you don't need it".

                                  It is all about the stuff under the hood, and in Samsung their case them making a unnecessary mess out of it with how long it is going to take, while it doesn't need to take that long.

                                    People who are complaining not having Android 15 quicker, seriously, what Android 15 feature that is a must have for you, that will change how you use your phone significantly?

                                    Heck, I can probably give you guys an Android 10 phone and tell you guys it’s Android 16, and you won’t even realize it without seeing the About page.

                                      I can complain a lot about Apple, but their betas are worldwide, on all supported devices and their updates launch 99% of the time at the same time worldwide on all supported devices.

                                      Something is telling me that the biggest part of the work in OneUI 7 are not the visible things, but the mess under it's hood.

                                      And that is why Samsung is taking so long this time.

                                        Even the S24 series not getting stable A15 until February, just 4 months before release of stable A16. Oneui 7 better be good performance-wise and free of major bug if Samsung taking so long to release it.
