As long as it can be disabled, preferably uninstalled, it's fine.

Aadrian, 24 Nov 2024I have AI on my S22 Ultra. Once I downloaded the UI version... moreYes, that's how I see it too. Who wants to falsify their photos, write fake texts and in general:
who wants to give up their life and let an AI live their life? Because that's the direction we're heading in. Will there even be anything left that we can do ourselves?
In the end, rich people like Elon Musk will be surfing, skydiving, swimming, driving fast cars and vacationing in the most beautiful places in the world.
And the rest of us? We'll create fake photos of ourselves skydiving, swimming, driving fast cars etc to show our friends, to make ourselves believe that we are having a good time, to boost our ego. We'll spend our lives in front of a screen, sitting in a 40 m² apartment and complaining in online chats about things that go wrong.

I have AI on my S22 Ultra. Once I downloaded the UI version that contained some AI features, I spend some time trying out different AI stuff. It was fun, for some time, but did I use it afterwards? Not really, to be honest I don't even remember when I last used an AI feature. I am not speaking for everyone but ai have the feeling that most people think the same about it right now.

I think it's obvious we are all tired of AI by now. Even for an AI enthusiast like me.
I honestly don't think we need an AI browser. The whole point of a browser is to search for stuff manually.
On the contrary I think an AI operating system would be much more interesting, and useful.

IpsDisplay, 23 Nov 2024Let the next level data harvesting begin Yep, ChatGPT powered iPhones and Samsung phones with former head of NSA on the board of OpenAI. Some truly distopian stuff.

Thanks to ai I stopped being interested in samsung flagships and iphones. I don't want a robot watching my phone and storing all the data in a server somewhere.

The precursor to this leaked news is
https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_unveils_gauss2_ai_model_with_an_ondevice_option-news-65437.php
Also Samsung has had their own Gauss AI LLMs for a long time now.
You'll see a LOT of AI in the western world SHIFT from Google's Gemini due to the uncertainty of the Federal DOJ pushing to separate Chrome and Search from Google's Monopoly. Honestly Search and LLM should be removed from Google and separately from Android and Chrome.

IpsDisplay, 23 Nov 2024Let the next level data harvesting begin I wonder how these LLM would survive without original content to harvest from? And the nerve to call it AI when it discriminates the questions you throw at it. Can't ask anything that violates terms and regulations lmao.

My problem is that I don't really have much to do on a phone apart from web browsing, texting and calling. There's not much OS level AI automation needed to be honest.
