Point is though even in pro mode dcg gets partial usage in particular cases and one needs to go out of their way to activate in fuller extent, it's like modding at that point

That, and laugh reacts from a well known user on this platform

Single exposure capabilities of sensors on phones should be used instead of relying on multi exposure hdr and light sensitivity, noise control and speed of sensors should be improved too

They should Release both exynos and snapdragon flagship variant with exynos model being 100 euro cheaper.

I bet still people would buy snapdragon model.

Anonymous, 24 Nov 2024Just keep the previous gen flagships, both S and Z, at a di... moreThey can't, because they don't control the production of Snapdragon chipsets. Qualcomm can stop production of 8 Gen 3 at their own will.
They can, however, control the chipset production, if they own Exynos.
This is why Exynos is NOT always bad. They just need to fix the efficiency (my experience with Exynos 2400 and 1480 are still pretty bad) and make the performance in par with the competitors. Relying more on Snapdragon and moving the production to TSMC were such a bad idea, because it gives Samsung less control to their product and makes Qualcomm and TSMC a bigger monopoly.
And before you guys call me a "Samsung fanboy" (ew), I'm typing this on a phone with TSMC-made Snapdragon processor lol.

I want to see all the people that use the "latest processor" and all of it's specs every single year, as if Android and iOS has really evolved past being glorified smart phones into ultra hyper computers.
Just what are you weirdos doing on your phones that warrant needing the "most advanced and powerful hardware evar!!1" ?

Every time they consider exynos, they're just shooting themselves in the foot and they'll keep doing so until they realize they can't get their desired audience/rethink exynos completely.

They seem to do wayyy better with exynos in the midrange segment than their flagship segment..
