I owe nokia x30 and this thing runs way better now then it ran on android 12, so yeah stop comoaring vanila android with garbage OS from the likes of samsung and or xiaomi. Still for a repairable it beats me why they think that 2 years of support is ok. It might be, but they should then focus to partner with murena and support OS sideloading after their own support is over. This might bring more people to jump on the platform. But oh well, might as well flop, as most of people only brag about how techy they are but when it comes to it, the s their pants and run over...

They dont give ... moreI hate how HMD pretends like they want you to be able to keep your phone for as long as possible and shows off how much they care about repairability. And then when they release a phone, instead of spending money on making sure it has a good processor so it gets updates for a long time, they focus on stupid gimmicks

          210 dollars for SD 4 gen 2 phone is insane. They dont give even more then 2 OS updates with it. But then again it's better cause 3rd update would probably already brick the phone to too slow to use. And then have game accessories for it while the phone dont have enough power to play games that you need gamepad for

          This would make sense only if the chip would be something as SD 7 gen 1 as minimum in that price point or like older SD778 that is basically same in performance wise

                Nokia would be proud. Actually trying something besides making an over-priced mid-ranger.
                Maybe could have gone one generation newer on the processor if we're selling gamer targeted parts though. Still kind of cool.

                  Rite now I coupled my phone with a 8888 SOC and a QLEDCromecast where I keep the fps levels to lows, which gives amezing results for Asphalt 9, but for War thunder mobile a joystick is a must without it the aircraft gets to do its own thing. And I live in countryside where iphones just don't show GPS so this would be an cool addition.

                    That gaming controller on a Snapdragon 4 is a wasted opportunity. This modular approach DESERVES flagship specs. Also, how about a camera grip, similar to the one that came with Xiaomi 14 Ultra?
