    Fail pricing. Maybe worth it for 800 euros which it costs now but not for 1000 euros which will be the price soon. I ordered a Oneplus 13 from China for about 720 euros and it has all he bands which is used in my country (Sweden) and I should be able to flash OxygenOS on it once it gets released and I don't have to pay any customs or VAT so why would I get the Realme then when Oneplus is generally better . And the GT7 Pro (12GB/256GB) costs less than 600 euros in China but lacks band B7 and it can't be unlocked unlike Oneplus. You can also buy Oppo Find X8 Pro (16GB/512GB) Chinese version from EU warehouse for less than 1000 euros or 12GB/256GB from China for less than 800, it has all bands for Europe and it has better cameras than Realme but also locked bootloader. So I am wondering who will buy GT7 Pro for 1000 euros?

          Why’d you hurt Realme, India?

            OkNotOk, 26 Nov 2024It is a false perception of a nation's economy. The... morewhat are you yapping about? the price by itself does not matter yeah but the competitors' pricing matters. That's what makes a market, a product, its competitors and the customers. The country's economy doesn't matter here because alternatives exist in a similar price bracket.

              AirY, 26 Nov 2024INR 60k In India... Yukkkk🤮I think the pricing is decent, given that it is rocking the latest and greatest SD8E, but it certainly would have been more palatable if it had a battery camera setup (main and ultrawide).

                Heis, 26 Nov 2024Who knows but Realme didn't provide any reason for a l... moreYes, more clarity on this issue would have been appreciated. IQOO is also dropping the capacity from 6150 to 6000 mAH, so it might not be only a Realme thing. But it is not like battery capacity above 6000 mAH is not allowed, as phones with higher capacity have sold in the past without any issues (7000 mAH in Samsung F/M series).

                If it is indeed a regulatory issue, I wonder if this battery capacity restriction will also apply to upcoming crop of high-mid range phones (Oneplus 13R, Realme Neo 7 etc). If that is the case, one of the differentiating factors of these phones will be compromised.

                              This phone will be a total flop. Chinese pricing is good but the global pricing is unacceptable , therefore this phone will not sell.

                                jiyen235, 26 Nov 2024why only india though? wouldn't they want to cut costs... moreIt is a false perception of a nation's economy.

                                The reason is very simple: the cost of living.

                                In Europe, the cost of living is significantly higher than in India.

                                But the price of the specific device, has exactly the same weight on the pockets of both European and Indian peoples.

                                This means that for the average salary of both a European and an Indian, the price of this device, in the respective national currencies;

                                - It will be Always a Cost Too High for their Pockets (Both whether you live in Europe, Whether you live in India)

                                Translated; never be fooled by the simple currency exchange with the economy of your country of origin.
                                But always evaluate where the product will be positioned and based on the average cost of living (of the peoples) of that specific place.

                                    [deleted post]Who's talking about "good/bad" ones?? What's worrisome is that almost all our phones in the EU are permanently open to servers located in an undemocratic country, where you can end up in jail for simply having an opinion.
