There's always going to be niches, but mainstream brands can't cater to them all. I'm sure there are phones with jacks but you can't expect a mainstream brand to appeal to that now that it's not as big as it was. Most people moved on

I also had Xiaomi, OnePlus and Samsung and I know very well what's the most reliable brand out there. Never had any problems with Samsung (I've been upgrading yearly since the note9) yet my Xiaomi died after less than a year. It's a fact that Chinese phones are unreliable knockoffs

                        Smallworld, 7 hours agoFrame is too sharp. This thing is going to be terrible to h... moreI don't even know why you got 4 ✖️s on your comment. This flat frame trend makes no sense, especially when you can have a thin frame that is still curved (a.k.a rounded, saying as I'm not talking about curved screens at all), like with the ZTE nubia Z70 Ultra, which has the thinnest frame on the market with a thickness of only 0.7mm. A curved frame and body will be much more comfortable to hold as long as the frame covers most of the side of the phone and there isn't extreme curvature of the body and edges (i.e. nothing like the Samsung Galaxy S20 series, but more like the Samsung Galaxy S21/+ and the Google Pixel 8 series).

                        Apple uses rounded edges on their otherwise flat frame precisely because it makes it more comfortable like you said. They learned this after the palm cutter that was the iPhone 14 series, which was completely flat (even including completely flat bezels). Samsung here is going for the absolute worst approach and it would be even worse had they kept the completely sharp corners of their previous Ultra phones, but this phone's corners are barely rounded anyway, so it's not much better.
