Promoting a guy who failed? I don't get it. Samsung management are like a mafia, basically top executives cant be fired because they are all related.

I really hope for the exynos chip from Samsung, just imagine if Samsung's hardware and software are very good, Apple will definitely be left behind, for now the hardware is already good in terms of what device materials are used, the glass, the battery, the charging speed, water and dust resistance (IP68), to the camera. then in terms of software One UI is a very extraordinary combination and is highly anticipated. come on Samsung's exynos chip can definitely beat Snapdragon or Mediatek

Generally, share prices don't affect companies at all. Actually, low share prices are good for companies that have excess cash and want to buy back shares.

Their laptops went from being interesting options to OLED + bare minimum effort specs and design.

Their tablet are now using Mediatek lmao, when they were supposed to be premium offerings. And they never got OIS, even though that was a thing for a while in their Tab lineup.

And lets not get started on their terrible appliances. Samsung was the top player before, where buying one of the S series devices meant no compromises and the best of the best that was available at the time. Now, it just means you get an Android device with more or less the same compromises as Android

I say this because the original samsung fans liled it as an alternative to nokia and then apple. I know that samsung has other ventures but still it is famous for its phones, tablets and laptops.

A youtube channel called "Cold Fusion" touched on this topic 3 days ago (as of writing).

Basically, Samsung lost 122 Billion (with a B) USD in their stock market value.
With that kind of moolah lost, definitely someone is gonna get their "ka-rear" booted and replaced.

Although there would be many issues for sure, "Cold Fusion's" channel touched on 3 topics:
                        1. Samsung lagged on their the HBM AI chips, thus missing the AI hype train.
                        2. Samsung's chip manufacturing fabs have more defects, less efficient, and less power compared to TSMC's chip manufacturing fabs
                        3. Samsung's in-house chips, Exynos, could not compete with Snapdragon (Sub-par and overheating).

Finally, Samsung controls around 22% to 25% of South Korea's GDP.
It's no wonder they joke that South Korea is "The Republic of Samsung".
And also frightening that if this one company collapses, can cripple the country (I may be overestimating).

Imagine having chip issues despite not being subject to sanctions.
