Phantom Ensemble, 01 Dec 2024Man what happened to the times of the 10 Pro+? 8+ Gen 1 and... moreFind X8 base basically makes the need for a Pro+ irrelevant

They better not pull a Reno 12 pro and give us power of a $200 phone for a price of $600

Man what happened to the times of the 10 Pro+? 8+ Gen 1 and decent everything (at least imo)

Anonymuss, 01 Dec 2024I think they are missing 3.5mm jack and SD card slot. So I ... moreThey dont miss anything s almost 2025 its right such ancient tech is not there.

By the way, where did the variant " i don't seem to like the hardware" go? That's the first time i would use it:

                - no telephoto on Reno 13 is a big miss, i would rather prefer it over the ultrawide.

                - 8300 is not serious for that class of phone, give 9200+ or something, at least for the Pro version.

But other than that these two phones are nice.

Luke, 01 Dec 2024I'm not paying more than 450€ for Chinese phones, whic... moreIf you don't think autofocus capable ultrawide is better than fixed focus and macro then I don't know how to help you.(these two don't have af ultrawide but there are phones that do)

I think they are missing 3.5mm jack and SD card slot. So I rate them a big fat ZERO.

The Reno 13 is a bit of an upgrade compared to the Reno 12 but it doesn't have the telephoto lens that the Reno 12 has but you get better screen resolution and a bigger battery and the new dimensty 8350 so yea the Reno 13 isn't a bad phone compared to the Reno 12
The Reno 13 pro on the other hand just straight up sucks it is weaker compared to the Reno 12 pro + what will I do with wireless charging? It isn't that important so why sacrifice the processor for wireless charging
(I know that there are people that use wireless charging everyday and they need it Incase the charging port stops working but that still isn't a reason to downgrade the processor)

The global versions will be nerfed as usual...

I'm not paying more than 450€ for Chinese phones, which I have no way to test/see/touch for myself. Their spec sheet is anything but meaningful and trustworthy.
