I have never seen any type of weather forecast work.
It never says "It is going to rain"; until it rains.
It says; "It is sunny." when there is thunderstorm.
Artificial idiocy won't be able to guess either. I hope it uses "heads or tails" to guess. At least we will have 50% chance to get it right...

BTW err By The Way waiting for AI that would predict humans life i.e. future.
We will have tarot cards like app and people will believe it.
What a cruel world we live and got into.
Like seriously.

Well still the predicting weather will be as difficult as until now.
It will still say 50% chance for rain so it could or it could not rain at all.
Why this thing???

This is probably one of the more practical implementations of AI I've seen. Something that most people will actually use and depend on everyday. I hope this model gets implemented soon with weather providers, looks very promising.

That's the real use case for AI which I had on my mind since day one. Not so far from now it'll be possible to forecast an whole year of weather.

>a traditional weather forecast model takes hours on a supercomputer
Damn... How do these even work, I wonder?
