I really love when people say that Apple doesn't change. Would you totally alter a good thing? I am perfectly happy knowing that upgrading iPhones means it will be faster, have a better camera and maybe one or two new features. Seriously who will actually use all the gestures that the new S4 has. Yea the waving your hand over the screen thing is cool but in reality you are going to show your friends a couple of times and then use it again.
Just because iPhone doesn't totally change their phone every year does not make them a bad company. Myself and others are appealed to the idea that you are buying a trusted and familiar product that is going to be a little sweeter than your old one!

Say I want to update one photo in one album, but I don't want it to sync from my main picture folder on my computer because those folders contain very high res photos that won't even render on the iPhone.
I have to keep a separate folder for iPhone pictures with lower res versions of the same photos. Then I have to put the photo into the album, fire up iTunes, wait 1 min for it to load and finish whatever its doing, click iPhone, click sync and wait until it finishes backing up, saving apps, etc. All told, roughly a 3 - 4 min operation.
In Android, I'm hoping that it'll be just as simple as using Windows Explorer to drag and drop the photo wherever I want. This will probably take me 20 - 30 seconds, tops.
Same thing for music and videos. Sometimes I run into the problem of 'phantom' videos, which iTunes say are on my phone, but not really. Music is a pain because I have to add it to the iTunes library, resort the list by 'Added Date' so that I know which music file I just added, add it to a Playlist, then sync.
Pictures and videos on the Camera Roll are accessible through Windows Explorer, but they're all broken up into several randomly-named folders, and there is no chronological order between the folders. It's ridiculous. I have to open up each folder, look through the pictures or videos, then copy and paste what I need (cut and paste is forbidden).

All I know is these claims about iphone never having problems was not my experience. The i5 I had was DOA out of the box. Took it back and I was always having problems with the new one overheating and freezing. Finally dumped it for an HTC ONE and looking back I wonder why I ever bought the i5. It's got an old design, boring OS and is missing so many features compared to the i5. Loving the fact that I don't need itunes to manage my music and can listen to FM radio any time I want. Best decision I ever made on a smartphone was tossing the Apple.

Besides, you can hate Apple all you want but the fact remains - they produce a quality product. The same can't necessarily be said for other Android manufacturers - Apple prefers a prime angus patty while the others will happily settle for C-grade meat.

I see the merits of a smaller device for one-handed operation, but the fact remains that you can learn to use a larger device one-handed. For example, I can learn to use a Galaxy S4 one-handed (I have already done so on demo models in the store). I cannot make the screen on my iPhone 4S or an iPhone 5 any larger, no matter what I do.
The former is overcome by learning. The latter is a hardware limitation that cannot be overcome by the user.
As for software, for starters I believe iTunes is the devil. It is supposed to remove complications when syncing a device, but it actually causes more problems for me because it is designed to do everything in a batch operation (and eats up space in the 'Other' storage, whatever the hell that is). Android, on the other hand, has an open file system and allows me to do piecemeal operations as I need to.
Then we get into the 'walled garden' where Apple dictates to you how your smartphone should be organized and how it should do things, for the most part. Android gives you the freedom to customize (Nova Launcher Prime, for example), remap buttons, etc.

yes they cant grow like 20 android OEMS together who releasing new phone every week.
Typical android fanboy comparing 20 OEMS together and saying how Apple falling because they cant grow like android.
Its impossible for one company who already sells much as apple sells, it cant grow much or at all. But if apple can maintain their huge sells like they been doing it means apple doing great also stock owners thank apple for that, Apple stock price went from 400 to 489 in few weeks.

Worlwide, apple sold q3 2012 26 million iPhones.
now they sold q3 2013 31 million iPhone, setting new q3 record sells.
5 million more.

Also stock owners are very happy about this that iPhone selling lot better than expected. q3 result day stock was around 400, now it's 489 HUGE GROW. Stock owners was very happy about apple iPhone numbers.

If this statement it's true, then I'm really disappointed.
8 MP again ? WTF ??
It will be the 3rd consecutive generation iPhone to have 8MP again. (4S, 5 and supposedely 5S).
Seriously, I really like the iPhone and I think it's the best made and best user-friendly device ever made but for fuck sake they should try to improve a little bit.
I'm currently owning a 4S and I didn't update to the 5 because there weren't that much improvements and now they're going to do the same mistake again ?
I really don't want to believe this news.
