Nice phone for my father. Instead of buying obsolete nokia feature phones, we move to android!!! wowowwww. Nice phone, i will buy it.

Anything is better than these boring,monotonous,miserable,full touchscreen designless slabs.

AnonD-150017, 13 Aug 2013do i see right, two screens??? are they both touch?I'm wondering that too. No mention about dual screen in article. Probably it should be dual (or turn-able) as there is no sens for keyboard if you can't see what you are writing. :)
At least I hope the inner screen is not touchscreen too.
I hate touch screen at my ear or cheek all the time accidentally switching something on-off while talking.
Design could be better. at least in those low res photos it looks a bit ... not so nice. :)
But I like the idea. Not exactly for me as I would like to have full keyboard. But for my wife could be ideal. She could love it as mainly uses phone as an phone not as some portable gaming platform, time consumer for lounger. Just sometimes some smartphone functions.

I want to see an android sidekick from sharp. Miss those phone. Retro phone on android. That would be nice. Tired of this rectangular touch screen phone. Everything looks the same

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2013I just wish Samsung went with open and twist (open and swiv... moreThey certainly were the days and there is no reason why they cant re-appear..What happened was every stupid company jumped on the apple bandwagon..Then what happened was every Android qwerty or T9 smartphone that came out was rubbish spec,,they did not sell well because of rubbish spec so the companys thought the public did not want them,WRONG,there a loads of folk wanting real button clamshells/sliders/qwerty slide out or scissor type smartphones..
I would love all my sgs2 hardware shoved into a Nokia E90 style smartfone ,exact replica of E90 that would do me..
I am buying this if it works on UK 3g.

I just wish Samsung went with open and twist (open and swivel) design that Japanese phone makers are using. It would be better and probably cheaper than having two screens. If it comes to Europe I may buy it as worthy successor to my Nokia N93 (those were the days).

Well dual core is enough,just want buy this phone for backup or say it like for phone and message thing,

AnonD-154040, 13 Aug 2013Maybe it's just me but I'm really getting sick and tired of... morei think that the name Galaxy refers to a Samsung phone running ANDRIOD, as i noticed that ATIV is the crappy windows variants..... so looking at that, you can take it like that,
Galaxy S - is the creme of the crop.
Galaxy Note - the phablet
Galaxy tab - the tablet
Galaxy Camera - is the android Camera
and so forth, so we can just ignore the "Galaxy" as all it means is the phone runs android
