Color OS is still pretty much the smoothest one around now but i think in terms of features and stuff both have their pros and cons and overall it's just a matter of preference apart from the smoothness.

Flagship killers have to compromise somewhere, this year you're getting essentially a "Pro" model IQOO phone just with downgraded cameras.

          The issue isn't that the software itself is bad or unstable or laggy. At least not in my experience.

          It's just too bare bones. I came from Samsung's One UI 6 and it felt like I was using a software built in 2017-2018 era. The photo editor was bare bones till A14. The whole UI and animation seems like very basic. Its good for an elderly.

          Then there's quality of life things which I miss:
          1. No way to auto record only unknown numbers.
          2. Even when I am using an app or playing a game, the incoming call UI is a small banner but as soon as I pick up the call, it opens full screen UI instead of keeping it small and/or enabling loud speaker.
          3. Text copy feature in albums was not there till A14. We could do it via Google Lens though.
          4. The overall UI is plain and basic.
          5. No way to lock battery charging to 80/85%.

              While hardware wise they are identical devices, in terms of Software, Oneplus is miles ahead.

              Now my only regret is in terms of Software experience. Otherwise happy with my iQOO.

I believe OnePlus 13 will provide 5+6 years of updates, even though in US or EU, people will upgrade every year to utilise the modem capabilities as US and EU networks are more advanced for 5G advanced.

                              As a pre-booking offer, iQOO was offering an additional one-year warranty. It was a really cool offer, which further increased the value-for-money quotient.

                              I wish all manufacturers would move to offering a two-year warranty as standard for their flagship devices, to signal high quality and to provide peace of mind to the customers.

                                      all that phone with a 512 GB model going for ~700 USD... we're SO back. The Oneplus 11 was praised back then but this deserves more praise for just offering MORE. And it's technically cheaper considering the fact that the OP11 only sold a 128 GB model back then for that price. INSANE value from IQOO. Wonder how the OP 13 will try to beat this, that phone should be at most 200 dollars more for the 512 GB model otherwise this one is a clear win, at least imo.
