DarlingYext, 12 Dec 2024Doesn't make it a better phone. The sales number of S series shows that it is better than chinese competitor.
S24 (for example) was even on top 10 best selling device worldwide. I see no chinese flagship on the list, even in the last 10 years.

It's good to see Samsung acknowled they won't sell well if they increse the price because lack of improvements over the S24 line.
So far it looks like this will be a chip upgrade over the S24 line.
You could at least improve cameras man...

There is only one problem with S24 Ultra and S25 uktra.. its the size… its too big. If the size is reduced a bit , there will be huge rise in demand of the phone.

They should consider including a 2TB model as well, given the growing demands from video content creators. Managing storage while on the go has become increasingly challenging due to the rise in high-resolution video production and the need for ample capacity to store and transfer large files seamlessly..

Zendroid, 11 Dec 2024You obviously never read the title? "Remain" is clearly referring to a past. And is obviously connected to "Prices". This even indicates these models had multiple prices and thus different prices for different phones. Yea, all logic from one title.
If the title was like: "The prices of Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25U could BE the same" , your point would have been somewhat understandable, but very moot. This would have been an unfortunate title. But, the title contains "REMAIN" and that makes it a good title.

xPandamon, 11 Dec 2024Xiaomi is another choice, but Sony just feels different and... moreI had an Sony Xperia mini way back in the day. It was tiny and had an exceptional camera for the time. The night mode was superior to any A series Samsung today.
But Sony just can't make edge to edge screens until today and the software feels like it was designed by a child and for that reason they have just gone downhill.

And do you find Samsung software still a bit more intelligent and customizable compared to the other brands?
I tried a Huawei P50 Pro a while back and just couldn't get over the fact that I could not swipe the middle of the screen to pull down the notification panel. Then there was the cameras - I just preferred my Samsung and was relieved to get back to it.

To be honest, the new Samsung phones don't excite me at all compared to the design marvels Flagships of yesteryear. But it's the software the keeps me with the ecosystem - not that it is super smooth or exceptional in any way - it's the small clever touches which the other brands don't have yet.
I'm still on a newly found Note 10 - my 2nd one - because it is the ideal size and weight and I love curved screens and backs - so much more comfortable to hold.
Just bought a Samsung Tab recently and it was more expensive than the other brands but just so easy to set up - one prompt and it was done.
Then there's Bixby Routines which I think there must be a Google rival in other brands - not sure.
Samsung cameras aren't the best either, the S10 and Note 10 series with their original software version were fantastic - much better than after the updates, so Samsung deliberately degrades the camera quality with each update. And let's face it - they've become overpriced for what they are. So their time is up soon. That sales curve will start to drop - at least for the flagship devices.
Until another brand catches up in software, I'll wait patiently because I'd change the whole ecosystem, watch, tab and phone all at once. And I'll be looking forward to a change.

I wonder when samsung, apple etc will adapt silicon anode batteries. Without that, it is really dumb to buy it since no levels of optimization can overcome 20-30% bigger batteries.
A vanilla s25 with 5000 mah battery will be nice.
