Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Flip FE will share a chipset you might not like

It was too late for the Galaxy S25 family, but not too late for next year's Flips.

You know what's so great about rumors?

They are rumors until they are not.

No matter the type of device or brand.

Until it comes out, I just don't believe it.

Because too many times stuff ended up being fake, even the "last minute leaks".

Time will tell how this will end up, but I don't expect Samsung to use 2500 in the main Flip, maybe the FE but even with that I have my doubts.

Because while the performance of 2400 is pretty good for what it is.

Efficiency, battery life and modem are not.

And the first two matter a lot in a foldable.

The problem with Exynos phones in the past (pre 2400) is that Samsung was selling them at the same price as the better performing Snapdragon version, despite them saving the cost by using Exynos. This put sour taste on consumers. Exynos is not an issue in the mid-range or lower as they are indeed less expensive phones.

          Imo it doesn't matter in the end as long as they are cheaper. Considering Samsung is removing Dex from the Flip series, it should've been less priced as it doesn't even have the same capabilities as a regular S series.

            Exynos is sexy

              Exynos is fine, as long as they are sold cheaper.
              The awful thing is paying the same price for an Exynos phone when the Snapdragon variant is priced the same.

                Kirin and tensynos are even worse.
                🤷🏻‍♂️.

                Crappynos 2500 maybe be on pair with 8g2.

                  Nobody likes exynos. But Samsung obviously wants to kill the flip/fold series. They will probably be buried next to the note.

                      At least the S25 will keep Snapdragon across the lineup...hopefully. Now if only they could give the base S25 the armor glass like on my S24 Ultra I'd downsize in a heartbeat.

                        The S24FE wasn’t bad according to reviews, so a exynos z flip for a cheap price is good
