I would truly love an Android flip phone to come to Europe/UK but at that thickness and weight, it's a 'no thank you' for now. Come on Samsung, make a truly slim and light flip phone - surely with today's technology it can be done?

              Thank you Samsung.

i think clamshells are beautiful phones. sometimes i am sad that this time is over. but smartphones are more useful.

and this phone right here is no compromise between the 2 worlds. even if the idea is good the result is ugly and heavy. display resolution is awful and the battery... man, a 1500 mAh battery and a quad-core cpu? this is just a bad joke...

waw samy great job i like that retro phone wish i can hv it but maybe when ill be 40 it doesnt suit me well now as a young boy

A retro phone for those living in the past. This appears to be a phone for people who want to be able to say or think they own a smart phone but don't really understand what a smart phone is or what it is capable of.

The physical numeric keypad and directional D-Pad will comfort these Luddites but the tiny and low resolution screen will limit the usefulness of most Android apps.

This is odd. I could see a full qwerty keyboard on the flip being purposeful, but a regular numpad?

Even so, the only form-factor I'd recognize is a slide with full qwerty. And the whole sliding function is completely redundant to me.

Bar form-factor is the only way to go in today's age. Until we have projected keyboards and/or screens, that'll be it.
