I've seen several people in the public with flagship Xiaomis, Oppos, and Vivos that cost over $900+. There aren't many, but still. The flagship segment isn't just iPhones and Samsungs, you know.

Those who bought global version Reno 12 series at MSRP are at the losing end of the deal. Paying a premium for a device that is bound to be replaced with the Reno 13 series in 5 months time.

Newly launched Oppo find x8 and Vivo x200 pro got more customer reviews within a month in India. Samsung's s24/+ still have lot less purchases.
Even Iqoo 13 is a big hit even for that price.
Xiaomi's ultras always go out of stock here.

I don't understand how the GSMArena mind works that they came up with this idea that a phone is a "loser" because... it didn't receive a sucessor.
It's nonsense.
If the phone is so good, why would I abandon it just because there's a new version out?

Believe them when they say Chinese flagships are outclassing the others because that has been happening for a while now but oblivious to those who have never used a Chinese flagship.

Oppo has been undergoing restructuring and is streamlining its portfolio. They should resume normal global releases now that its patent issues have been resolved. They have been pushing the boundaries of smartphone tech for a long time now being the first to introduce periscope lens and fast charging.
I'm just disappointed that Nokia is now acting like a patent troll.

Keep in mind that the people who run these websites get to try tons of unreleased Chinese smartphones for free and give them great reviews, but no one else is paying $900+ for a Xiaomi, Oppo, or Vivo.

Oppo? All losers.
Find X8 series: insulting to the customer spending that much money yet are still faced with insulting bloatwares. Only ambassadors and tech youtubers use these.
Reno 12 series: seriously overpriced and hold no candle to the camera performance of the Vivo V40 series.
The rest: trash ODM phones packaged inside shiny plastics to lure in low end consumers in 3rd tier cities.
Consolation prize to ColorOS, only because HyperOS is worse.

That just shows you have no clue and you just want to keep on hating. Watch comparisons between both chips and you'll see how they both heat up almost equally depending on the task done.
Mediatek has a slightly better gpu but the Snapdragon has quite a better cpu. And most importantly, it has the drivers and support that make it perform a lot better foe certain games and emulators.

Speakers? They sound the same.
Haptics? They feel the same.
Battery? Similar battery life (smaller screen).
More powerful chip? Lol. The 8 Elite is known to heat up and throttle to 40% of its max rated performance. And the 9400 has a better GPU.
Sorry, mate. The OnePlus ain't worth it.
