The only Poco device known to die after a year or so of use is the Poco X3 Pro.

Ugly design for the non pro model even the pro model is too simple and 2 cameras only? Tell me its ultrawide/tele not some gimmick lenses

potato4k, 13 Dec 2024Poco has been simply a rebranding of China only Redmi phone... moreThere aren't any midrange Redmi or Xiaomi with only two camera lenses, so that setup looks like an original model so far.

That huge Poco logo on the back of the Poco X7 reminded me of the Poco X3 NFC and the Poco X3 Pro again.I wonder why they decided to slap that big logo on their phone again.

Maybe it will be a litlle better if they make the logo smaller or something.

pl2rts, 13 Dec 2024Who do even understand the chip size about is it 6nm or 4nm... moreIf you don't know why chipsets are getting smaller these days,it's because:

The smaller a chipset is,the more power efficient it is

The bigger a chipset is,the more power deficient it is

The only thing is,the strongest chupset are always the ones to get this smaller sizes first, such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite and Dimensity 9400 which is already at 3nm.While most midrange chipset are still at 4-6nm.There are also budget chipsets that are as big as 12nm such as the Helio G95 and Snapdragon 439.

And since they're big, they are less power efficient than the smaller ones.

Maybe you should google more aboat these things instead of just yappping.

Just unlock bootloader and flash custom ROM if you don't want to be stuck in the stock HyperOS.
                        You are welcome.

Are they copying this over from a Redmi turbo model for the pro? Or is this a new in house design?

Baggin, 13 Dec 2024Very ugly design. They completely eliminate POCO element in... moreWhat is a poco element in their design ???
These cameras have always being similar to something in the past too so nothing new. Poco F5 and F6 have something unique but that is too late to call it element of Poco.

Poco element is not their design of the phones but to get performance first and cut cost on everything other to get the price down so more people can have good performing phones

Why even care for the 4nm and to think it should be normal to see 4nm chips in a budget phones ?

is poco x7 pro chipset will be dimensity 8400?

I read somewhere else that X7 Pro could be based on Redmi K80. But that thing has SD 8 Gen 3. That is crazy. And as per other rumors that should be the new Poco F7 Ultra.

If they'll be similar to note 14 series. This does not look promising. Note 14 Pro+ comes with 7s Gen 3 which is much weaker than Dimensity 8300 Ultra. So this is shaping up to be a severe downgrade with presumably higher prices.
