              kluskaczan, 13 Dec 2024The difference in photos from the main sensor is so small b... moreI thought that too but I watched a nearly 3 hour comparison video on Youtube which has to be the most detailed out there and for pictures of human subjects in particular and portraits there is quite a large difference (also includes the Pura 70 ultra and magic 6 ultimate). 2x crops also have a massive difference. The new sensor doesn't seem to be suited to 2x crops and portraits at 2x. The lyt-900 is much better for digital zoom from 2x-3.6x before the telephoto kicks in. The ultra is also using a much stronger sensor for the ultrawide. I don't personally care at all about the ultrawide but the difference in quality is there. Having said that I'd rather the x200 pro out of the two as the battery life is quite a lot better and in China from official sources it's still a bit cheaper and the camera quality is still very good.

                  Judging by your comment, so vivo has made 100 ultra worse to make 200 pro look better and justify the downgrade.

                  Sensor is more effective for photos than videos. Panasonic gh6 ( 4/3) does better videos than most apsc cameras.

                          I'm still looking forward to the ultra but if it comes in my country I'll instantly buy it, play with it for a few days then return it lol.

In addition, for the x100U and the OriginOS 5 update, the processing went in the direction of image processing with the x200pro, where this difference has blurred, which is why a lot of ultra geeks on vivo's telegram raised an uproar :) that if the x100u is not such a supercoke, ino must share the scepter with some newer PROs. Whatever, but in video the x200pro is a bit better, and the whole HDR is also better.
