So they basically killed there own Redmi Note 14 with this mobile which is way cheaper. This is still not better than realme 14x or Cmf 1 in same price segment.

Only support up for 2 major Android releases puts it exactly into the same spot, as the M6 Pro 4G. Both are being released with Android 14, still waiting for Android 15 (HyperOS 2), and Google said, Android 16 might already come into summer 2025... go figure...so it's a new phone, but then being stuck to Android 16...this sounds a bit lame duck from Poco/Xiaomi....i know, its a cheaper device...but c'mon Poco, it should boot HyperOS 2 right out of the box, with Android 15...especially for a device for 2025...because it gets released next week.
So technically, Android 16 might be into Winter 2025 already "old" when Android 17 might come out...and then, you only have 4 years of Android security updates, for a rather old version...that doesn't feel right. Xiaomi/Poco should take this also into that price range for 5+ years software support, incl. all Android Updates within this timeframe...that would be a nice commitment for the brand...go figure!
