For example Iphone users selling their old devices asking many hundreds for something they used for decades.

And about updates for me 2-3 years is more than enough.
Last thing i want to experience is to see my phone dead after the warranty goes off.
Like with all y previous phones i always sell when my device bought on carrier 2 year long lasting contract is paid so i buy new device and sell my old one when still have decent value.
Their phones can easily last 5-10 years but even a working phone after 5 years and even if still supported for updates will have zero value.
If i sell after 2 years have much less money to pay for new device unlike keeping it as long as it will last and then buying new one unable to sell the old because its get way too old.

The biggest weaknesses are bloatware and a lack of a decent software upgrade schedule beyond cumulative updates.

Realme p1 should still be considered a winner considering price of 13k inr. Good enough cameras, good performance for the price, stunning display and stereo speakers, and solid build (albeit in plastic).

It blows my mind that there are still flagships coming out WITHOUT esim capabilities (Realme GT 7 Pro). It is a basic technology in today's world. Shame on you Realme. That alone is a dealbreaker for me. 👎🏻

GT7 Pro should be not a winner since they had heat problems with the 8 Elite 🤷🏻‍♂️

How on earth are the excellent realme gt6 series considered losers😱😱👎

Including a crooked 8MP ultrawide that takes pictures like it's 2014, but with the added bonus of extreme corner softness and chromatic abberation? Oh, and it still can't even do macro? Sign me up!

                                      > "The P1, along with the P1 Pro, was meant to be about raw power and performance..."

I don't know what the marketing department was thinking, but we don't associate Dimensity 7050 with "raw power and performance".

13 pro+ ai, telephoto, design upgrade over 12 are winners and it's the same price in china
