I recently got the Vivo X200 Pro.
GREAT pics.
A NIGHTMARE trying to connect / sync Google messages and MS Outlook between Vivo X200 and my computer. I used a Samsung for years, didn't break a sweat.
I promise you, the Vivo X200 connecting/syncing with your computer will give you NIGHTMARES!
Now, how's THAT possible in 2024?

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2024How long does it take to recharge your phone with the wirel... moreOf course I will never start charging from 0%. It's hard to reach down to 0% with Xperia 1VI. I have never been below 30% during the month I've had it.
It's very easy to keep this phone charged. I spend about 1-2 hours in my car on a daily basis. So from an absolute perspective it will charge 30-50% while driving. Perhaps I will leave home with 60% and come home with 80%. Using the phone in my job and while in the car.
Sometimes I charge wirelessly at home 10-15W some 10% here and there.
The maximum wired charger I have at home is 25W which I used to have for my S23 Ultra and now mostly for my Tab S9+ tablet (supports 45W but why fry the battery?). If I have plenty of time I use only 18W charger so the battery stays even cooler and live longer.
I have yet to use wireless charging in the summer with the Xperia 1VI and I suspect it might heat up above 40 degrees celsius then, which isn't great for the battery. If it happens my Zeekr has 60W wired charging through USB-C and the Sony maxes out at 30W. Or even a second 20W port which might be needed on really HOT days. Rarely above 30C in Sweden anyways. In hot countries I can understand if people don't like wireless as much (battery heating up way above 40C = bad).

I've tried it and it's not look bad, because for me it looks simpler, even simpler than the competition like One UI, ColorOS, or HyperOS. You guys just don't like it because it's not as iOS-y as OriginOS, lol.

I have owned much more phones than anyone of you so I certainly know what I am talking about. Did I ever mention that you should all utilize wireless charging instead wired? NO.

In my case, I use wireless charging for my X200 Pro on my car while driving which is more convenient and results into less stress on the charging port. I have a Baseus wireless charging pad at home but I barely use it. It is not a totally useless feature and depends on what type of user you are.

Frankly, unless the phone has terrible battery life like the old iPhones, you don't need to put it on a wireless charger or hook it up to a power bank to top it off several times a day.

At the end of the day, it is a business. No manufacture in the modern era will ever put in all the features in their flagship phones in all their phones even on the same line. Every single handset/model has its own set of clientele or maybe you don't know that.

The Oppo find x8 got 4.4. I tried the cameras on this and they are good so I think also 4.3 or 4.4. Maybe 4.3 coz of lacking a few features like wireless charging (Oppo find x8 has it) and having a short focal optical fingerprint. I'm fine with an optical fingerprint reader but they really shouldn't use a short focal one in a flagship.

iPhone SE 2020 had wireless charging... this is a sad joke in 2024!
All new cars have built-in wireless charging. In my car there is 50W wireless charging even.
Haven't even charged my Xperia 1 VI with a cable yet.
Vivo think this is a good way to make people buy X200 Pro? They must be stupid.

Basically the percentage difference compared to Chinese pricing doesn't change too much from year to year so it is pretty easy to roughly guess the starting price global prices if you look at past pricing. The only Chinese brand with way more aggressive pricing for their global flagships is Nubia. The global pricing of the z70 ultra is way cheaper that what Oppo, Xiaomi or Vivo charge for their global flagships. Not sure how Nubia can achieve that.

i just wanna let you know that the funtouch ux is awful and i was even suprised they keep using it at the moment. with android 15 one ui and coloros far more better i think. nothing special about funtouch compared to originos, which is the game changer for global market. just open the youtube how advanced they create chienese version more satisfyingly smooth and clean. oppo x8 maybe better at this time.
