I only use the Chinese ROM as it allows you to use apps not available in Europe. It ships in Mandarin and English. Many of my friends and colleagues have followed suit. Ironically the only thing that disappoints me about the 14 Ultra is the camera. The 11 Ultra camera was better. Best camera I've ever had was the Huawei 30 Mate but Trump put a stop to that development.

So Chinese phone manufacturers not just Xiaomi have to tailor for internal Chinese customers & another ROM for global customers.

        -bluetooth 6
        -UWB

            I bought this phone, charger stopped working after 2 months. And to return charger, omg so crazy process, almost impossible. But phone is nice, camera nice

              It should be at least 240W.
              Phones with charging speeds below 100 should not be released.
              Time is money faster is always better.

                I am going to buy one of these China mega flagships just to spite Samsung and their complacency

                  Despite selling less than Apple, they still make much better progress than they do in the west. We're talking about a huge market like China. We'd fit a few Europes inside with that population. The purchasing power is significantly better In Europe though. But still my point was the effort spent vs revenue. They'll have less in expense to sell the device from where they produced.

Supply chain,... moreTo be honest the vast majority of people in China also go for APPLE when spending above 6500rmb or Huawei would be the next closest even though they are a bit more expensive than OPPO, Xiaomi and Vivo. Xiaomi certainly does better than VIVO and OPPO in that price category but the sales of the ultra models are not that high. Xiaomi's biggest success has been with the standard model especially in the last two years where the Xiaomi 14 and 15 are selling really well. Vivo and OPPO in particular have struggled to make any significant impact at all with their ultra models so far.

This further limited my location (Emergency Satellite use available only in the USA or CHINA)

                              First people should change their mentality about the Chinese manufacturers instead of running towards brands like Scamsung.

                              They're bringing their devices to the west. What happens? All the additional import taxes etc making the price almost the same level with other producer's. What people do? They go and buy what they think 'the best' which is in fact not.

                              So, why do you judge the brands then? Xiaomi at least consistently bringing.

                              Did you see how their sales perform China vs other regions comparing to the other brands?

                              If they don't make significant sales, why they should waste the effort?

                                Sorry for my ignorance, but what is "satellite connectivity", exactly? Ain't all smartphones connected to the internet through satellite?
