I live in Colorado, US. Considering global version of this phone for my wife. Specs look great and camera reviews are awesome. I have watched dozens of reviews from different bloggers on youtube and other places. Everybody talks about screen, cpu, battery and camera. My only concern is the quality of 4G and 5G signal with T-Mobile provider. Has anyone used this phone in United States, especially with T-Mobile? Please share your experience.

        you should definitely buy the chinese version (origin os) vivo x200 pro because there is more customization than the funtouch os, even tho is there is no google play in the chinese one but you could download apkpure or download google play services if possible, copilot ai said it is possible.

                  When is the vivo X100 series or Vivo x200 series gonna reach iraq? Ive been waiting since it was released i just want this phone so badly

                    Official European price is out. €1,299 in Spain but that is for 16gb 512gb.

                      crispcketlicker, 20 Dec 2024Yeah but it's a bummer, to pay flagship price and use ... morethe cameras are better optimized (this one's just a theory) and the skin tones are far superior in the global version, for me, the better portrait mode/photo mode skin tone rendition makes the lack of originos a non-issue. im a camera first guy with a heavy focus on portraits.

                      I know OriginOS is more visually pleasing but i actually have a gripe with it, it looks a bit iPhone-ey at times so i like funtouch os cus of that. It looks old and stuff but it still looks like an android, most modern phones just look insanely similar to iphones and even scamsung is going down that path lol

It could be like MIUI China/Global difference, which is more subtle. Yeah you get all the same features (maybe) but the it's not on the same level of care. Like you said, the difference comes to animation smoothness and visual tweaks but that for me makes the difference.

They test all kind of hardware (computers, laptops, smartphones etc) and when they make a full review, they always list all available bands (4G/5G) under "full specifications".

                            While Android and Google services are notorious for bad energy management and fast battery drain, this changed to a some extent with Android 14, when battery life started to improve in Android devces.
                            Nonetheless, I am very curious to see whether western implementation of google services may still be more prone to wasting resources and energy than non-western service implementations.
                            One other topic is the excessive use of beauty-filters in eastern camera apps. I like my portraits unprocessed by the camera because I do want to have maximum control over my portraits. Sometimes I want a handful of skin smoothing and sometimes I don't want any kind of processing at all.

                            I also hope that vivo may have sorted out the camera flare/reflection issues on the hardware side.

                            Really looking forward the global release of Vivo 200 pro. This will be THE cameraphone to beat in 2025 - and I have still not seen any contender that delivers better overall perfomrmance.

                                  Frankly, I don't understand complaitns about Funtouch.
                                  Its almost Pixel-style bloat free and smooth.

                                  I vastly prefer it over Samsung's One UI for example.

                                    crispcketlicker, 19 Dec 2024Ugh, originOS's UI is so much better in comparison to ... moreOriginOS is better but it's not a night and day difference, it's just icon changes and slower but smoother looking animations on OriginOS. ColorOS/OxygenOS MOG OriginOS still so there's that. Most of what you can do in OriginOS has been ported to Funtouch OS now with the 15 update.

                                    So apart from better icons and better animations, i don't really see why people act like funtouch os is some hellish piece of software lol

                                      But yeah, i think it'd be cool if we had the option to switch like that, more options for people is always better!
