OnePlus Ace 5 and 5 Pro appear in regulatory listings

Both phones are launching in China next week.

I'm not probably going to buy this phone, based on the specs, so far.

And to add up a bit to discussion, well, i personally don't feel any sympathy to it.

The cons to me are:

• lackluster camera setup. An ois 50mp + 50mp ois telephoto 75-85mm equiv. would be good.

• no need for that hot Snapdragon stove. Give 9200+ or so, and that would suffice.

• it's big and quadratic. Give like 6,43" or so, with a bit harmonious edges.

• 3,5mm, usb 3 , sd card, good selfie, where?

      "Yeah, but who really cares a lot about the secondary camera? Uness you like to take ultra wide or telephoto picture often, it's a non-issue. When you don't give us option to instantly record it on the micro SD card, you should've at least give us option to transfer it quickly to our SSD/computer. It's important."

And you're better ... moreLack of space has been debunked multiple times withe huge areas left out as unised space, many YouTubers with nothing but hobby tools have managed to add headphone jacka on iPhones so don't give me the "they take too much space" excuse, they do not and they are essential. External dacs are not always better and I know because I've been using products from Fiio, Shanling and other dedicated audio brands but they don't offer anything noticeably better with jist a simple type c to 3.5 dongle and dongles are fragile, easy to lose plus you can't power the device while using the wired audio.

          I don't get people defending the omission of irreplaceable features with arguments that have no backing at all. Some say wireless is better and immediately show how little they know about audio or their ability to sense the massive latency issues. Another landfill item that needs charging.

          On board audio can be and has been phenomenal with LG and SONY phones. Audio jacks are great and likely can never be replaced.

            As for the USB 2.0 - it's the manufacturer's greed. USB 3.2 licensing are additional costs. It actually used to be even more ridiculous. For almost 3 years I used flagships that had USB 2.0 (Mi 11 Ultra and iPhone 14 Pro Max), transfer speeds were murderous.

              This looks like it will be very cheap.

I don't even know what to say. The lumia 950/XL came with USB 3.0/3.1, 10 years ago! A decade and we're still getting USB 2.0. I'd say kill all secondary cameras if that gets me a well rounded phone witg USB 3.1 or better. First we lost 3.5mm jack amd now 2.0 is apparently the standard practice, makes no sense to me.

                  The Ace 5 Pro better get a telephoto camera and a better ultrawide as well, cause otherwise, it's DOA. It could literally be one of the best-rounded flagship killers if it would get a better camera setup.
