        Guys :
All above is a myth... :
        - The initial version of the software was a bit too buggy. Agreed !!
        - Current version is very stable
        - You can downgrade to any version you want as long as you have the ipa of that versions and know the steps to downgrade, downgrade is possible within versions 7s and ofcouse you can downgrade to latest 6's.
        - Apple did take people from the Mac team out to meet the timeline... While I was talking to Tim (Cook) about it... he did mentioned that they got special support from Google / Facebook / Yahoo developers too to help release the build on time... Lo & behold we are ahead of time... [Joke / Sarcasm]

Who really cares as an end consumer where the developers are coming in from as long as we get the commercial release out on time for general public too use. Which it seems is now very set from Apple's perspective this build is ready to GM.

Hope the post helps. The intent was not to piss off anyone but about sharing information.

Cheers !! iOS 7 is here for the ones who use it to the fullest congratulations our lives just became more organised and easier.

Anonymous, 16 Aug 2013STill very buggy and app problems I keep telling people that the number of bugs and beta releases is a very troubling sign. Remember, they pulled a bunch of engineers off the Mac development team to work on this release because it was so far behind. Yes, they are are Apple software engineers, but you can't just take software developers out of one ecosystem and put them in another and expect them to know the os features inside-out.

Anyone who buys a iphone 5s or 5c in the first month of it's release has no right to complain when they discover there are still a bunch of problems with ios 7. It's 6th beta and Apple is STILL fixing MAJOR bugs? The signs are all right there that they've got major quality issues with ios, but you chose to ignore them.

          Buyer beware.

Luke, 16 Aug 2013well, that's not really good. IOS's biggest problem is that... moreHi Luke, I haven't heard of any OS that officially allowed you to downgrade. There's always a way to do it thought. I wouldn't consider this a weakness of iOS as such.

AnonD-8044, 16 Aug 2013Here in UK its never been due to carriers or customisations... moreHi, I think you misunderstood my post slightly .iOS has never had any carrier restrictions to my knowlwdge, that's the whole point. What I meant was that in comparison to Symbian and Android, everybody gets updates straight away - which is a good thing.

Played w... moreHere in UK its never been due to carriers or customisations that's not allowed..Every iphone in UK has no carrier restrictions or branding only locked to that network..The minute an update is available ie 6.1.2 to 6.1.3 it available to every UK iphone reguardless of carrier,no need to do any testing the iphone is pure iphone bar network lock..

You must live where Apple agree to carrier customisation because ive never heard of such thing. All iphones are just iphones and not allowed to be adulterated in any shape or form bar a network lock so you can only use it on that network.

exe, 16 Aug 20136:16 PM. too late apple.Apple very late............

I'm really looking forward to the release of iOS7. Played with the beta a while ago but decided to not kill the excitement because of a dodgy beta.

What I love especially is the FOTA feature, straight from Apple's labs to my phone. No waiting on carriers and customisations.
